My husband and I joined a three day/ two night float fishing trip in the Gunnison River Gorge in mid-July. A terrific experience all around! The guides - Tres, Adam and Cato - are so knowledgeable and work incredibly hard to get us on fish, set up camp each night, and prepare amazing meals each day. It couldn't have been more fun!

Went an a float trip with Ed’s Fly Shop. We had a blast! Caught plenty of beautiful trout on the lower Gunnison. Cato was a great guide. He was very patient, instructive and very good at his job. I highly recommend you give them a call, check out Ed’s website or just go visit his shop in Montrose, Co. He has a wonderful variety of guided trips and a ton of quality merchandise in the store.

A group of 6 of us went on a two night Gunny Gorge rafting / fishing trip through Ed’s Fly Shop. It was fantastic. Kato, John, Tres, and Adam were stellar fly guides, whitewater navigators—and chefs! The stretch of water is stunning, and they picked out campsites that really showcased the natural beauty. The trip ran incredibly smoothly—including the salmon fly hatch hitting on the last day and some monster trout going after our dry flies! We hope to be back! 10/10 would recommend

Robert was an excellent guide, patient and took the time to teach. Robert got us on to fish both days drift trip and a walk. Made us a great lunch. Adam was awesome as well took good care of our dad and friend on the other boat Respectful good guys. Definitely going back!! Ed took good care of us when we got back to the store. The go-to fly fishing shop and guide in Western Colorado! Ed hooked me up with an awesome fly rod and coaching to get my fishing gear and education dialed in.

We had fun setting up a photo studio for Ed and his Fly shop team to shoot photos, videos and future live streaming.
