Loud. Obnoxiously and distractingly so.

This facility has a playground inside the library. Nice! Nothing says library, like children yelling in ear splitting pitch and volume.

Another lovely touch is the open and vaulted ceilings above the stairwell. Why isolate the acoustics between floors? Not when you can share the conversations and screaming from below with everyone in the library.

Every oblivious mom of a screaming toddler finds their way to this facility, at a time when others are trying to read.

Its extremely disappointing that this "new" library that the tax payers funded is devolved to being a 3rd rate kindergarten.

OPENING of our BRAND NEW Castle Rock Library Today after 18 months of construction!!

It's a behemoth beauty that will meet the needs of our growing community! Many study spaces, personal stations, offices, conference rooms for rental with reservation, more books, more media, more service stations and an expansive and beautiful view of the Sante Fe Butte. There's an electronics rental and business section, large area and playground for young kids, and a fair amount of books for grownups. There's also a local history and archive room that will have historic records in the vault, and you can have access to them with the help of a librarian.

This is a wonderful modern library!!

Very soon, there will also be enough parking with a new parking lot!

Such an inviting place to come check out book or study. The young children's library has a play area that was really great for the kids. There was an area right off that where parents could sit and keep a close eye on the kids also. Plenty of siting nooks everywhere and study stalls or rooms available.

I went to a group meetup here and had a look around. Looks pretty nice! Reminds me of another library I’ve been to and liked. Nice number of meeting rooms and appealing multi level look. And super helpful staff members! Could be more parking though.

What an incredible facility! Every staff member we met was super happy to answer questions and help in any way. The layout, amenities, facilities, books, movies, play area, meeting rooms, study rooms, equipment to borrow, and so on. Amazing. We could not have been more impressed.
