My family just spent at night at the cabins, we were in the livery. We had the while old west town to ourselves. We would have loved to stayed longer. The rooms are great and clean and perfect for families. The play area is perfect for all ages. The gift shop has a lot to choose from. The service lady, Beth, was exceptional and so nice. We live in wny and came down here to see craters of diamonds state park. I found the cabins when trying to find somewhere to sleep for the night that would be close by. If we ever come out this way again, we will definitely stay here and for make it for a few extra nights. Forgot to mention, the view is excellent as well. It really does look like an old west town.

I would suggest going here for anyone with children. My kids loved it here! The rooms are clean and we love the rooms. Loved the privacy of the location and just sitting on the porch watching the sun come up and go down. Such a unique experience and the beds were so comfortable. Can't wait to plan my next trip here!

Fantastic experience. I was hoping that there would be enough activities to keep my kids entertained and I was impressed. Foam showers and bounce pad etc.. In the evening we had a balcony to enjoy the sunset. Will definitely stay next time I'm in town.

Amazing place to stay. Very rustic but my family of 6 was very comfortable in our cozy cabin. The play ground was fun and they have a foam party at 6pm every night. Location is very quiet and the view of the stars at night was wonderful. Mini fridge with the freezer! Fire pit and picnic table outside. This place is a vacation all on its own. We stayed in the "school" cabin.

Room 4.5 only because of a broken on/off knob, but not a deal breaker if you're a regular live and enjoy the adventure type of person

Each cabin around 2 rooms only
Could barely hear the guests upstairs

Each has a theme and we got the Point Express for the kids and it has a well worn jacuzzi. Knob to turn on dismantled itself, but otherwise everything working.

It was a relaxing and enjoyable trip

The playground was AMAZING! Esp for a hotel/ lodge.
We could've just stayed here and my children would've been happy just playing there.

The General Store is a souvenir shop but has ice cream(dots) and cold drinks.

Bring your own utensils and plates etc if you want to cook on the grill. But charcoal etc from the Family Dollar nearby.
There's a picnic table outside.

Microwave and a small coffee maker is available.

Loved the theme and hide out. Pony express and livery were great cabins. Foam and rise up jumping area was cool. Just be careful they have hornets and wasps at the playground.

Came to view the eclipse and was not disappointed! We stayed four nights, with friends staying in another cabin, and all had a blast. My kids (7 and 9) were never bored, as there was plenty to do on the property. Everything worked and was clean and comfortable. We stayed on the top floor of the Livery. Staff were both helpful and friendly.

Only thing I recommend is that visitors pick up their supplies before arriving, as the rooms don't have shampoo and soap, and the selection at the general store is understandably a bit limited.

If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we'd gladly pay another visit.

This is the second time we have been here and we love it. Rooms are unique and cozy. Beds are comfy. They have a playground for the kids with a basketball court, sand volleyball, corn pit (like a ball pit filled with dry corn), the do a "suds party", have BBQ pits, can do bonfires... it's right down the street from a few different food places and gas stations. Only about 10 minutes away from the diamond mines, if that. Staff is friendly and they are very honest good people. My daughter lost her favorite sweater and they offered to ship it back to her when found... we love this place!
