The library is small, it has a children's area. They have storytime where they sing, play and listen to stories. Toys are only available after storytime, when we arrived there were no toys available as in other Denver libraries. The library has its own parking lot.

I have a deep appreciation for this library and the dedicated staff. I've been bringing my children here since they were just a few weeks old for storytime and various activities. It's important to me that they continue to enjoy visiting the library and view it as a space for community engagement, resources, and personal development.

However, I have some concerns about the current environment at the library. Issues such as visible drug use, campfires, and homelessness have become prevalent, and the area often has an unpleasant odor. As a result, I find myself preferring to use the drive-thru for book pick-up rather than entering the building.

This situation is disheartening, especially considering that children represent the future of our city. Libraries play a crucial role in Denver’s identity, distinguishing it from other regions across the country. It’s essential to find a balance between providing support for the homeless community while also fostering a welcoming and safe space for all patrons.

Love this location! every time i come in the staff is SO helpful and knowledgeable. I lost my library card and Laurie and Jay helped set me up with a new one and transfer all of my Libby account details over. They were very kind and checked some items on the backend for me. Thank you!

Small & extremely outdated building. Its ok if you're picking up or dropping off holds, but not a great place to spend time at. People smoking outside the entrance. Homeless people loitering inside. Not pleasant.

The staff is usually very polite and helpful. The library itself is small and can be rowdy.

Specific days a week there’s usually a community resource employee that can help with various tasks (community resources, peer support etc.) There’s also a charging station, a phone for public use.

To the extent previous reviews have cited issues with safety and rudeness, I think those issues have been addressed and corrected.

Staff was friendly and helpful in getting my library card and explaining the computer and printing resources.

A security guard was very present, aware of his surroundings and friendly to guests, while also seeming plenty ready to handle any issues that could arise.

I had an overwhelmingly positive experience and will return weekly.

Its always scary going to this library because of all the vagrants around and all the drug use thats being done there. Its sad because I used to go to this library after school, which was only like 3 blocks away
