You gotta check this place out! They're like a thrift store, but everything comes from CSU's campus and they just remodeled. They have computers, laptops, bikes, sports equipment and lab stuff. AND ALL THE EMPLOYEES ARE SUPER KNOWLEDGEABLE AND HELPFUL, EVEN THE ONES BEHIND THE COUNTER!! I love this place

Great prices and friendly staff, found a chair that's typically $1000 new for $15 and there's tons of other great goodies

Fair and often good deals. Lots of random items you wouldn't think would be there. Most likely due to them having access to abandoned property from the campus dorms. Great place to find power bricks and random connection wires real cheap... Think the square printer cable that costs $20 for $5ish.

They had decent deals a few years ago but I haven’t found any recently, most stuff seems over priced. A lot of the signage is out of date and the place looks dingy. Staff are not reliable to help figure out prices on unlabeled items. I used to be a big fan but this place needs some attention.

You can find some good mini desktop computers here and definitely the best place to get power supplies and cables for very cheap. Most of the prices on computers are "real". With real I mean they are the price that you can get that used computer on eBay or amazon refurbish. In most cases you wont get a great deal, and some stuff (specially monitors) are way overpriced. But if they can sell them at that price, good for them.

There are some furniture and chairs, at astonishing prices (like 120 U$ for a beaten school chair...)

Parking is small (literally 5 cars) and there is always like 2 or 3 cars (probably ppl working here).

Sometimes they have really good offers like the time the put bike wheels, but then someone comes and takes all of them, leaving the trash.

First time I bought 3xHP mini computer and the guy working there gave me the power supplies (included with the computer prices)

Month latter I bought 3 more and they were like "you need to go to that box on the other side and dig the pile of power supplies and find the one that works with that computer and pay for it"

I'm a grad student at CSU and so wanted to like this place. I visited 3 times to try to purchase a large bookshelf. Each time, the customer service was poor. Most of the employees were on their phones. My first visit, they let me know that they couldn't let me purchase an item and hold it until I could come back in a larger vehicle, which I completely understand. So, I came back a second time to check if the shelf was still there and it was. This visit, there were no employees present when I walked in. My third visit later that same day, I came prepared with a truck and found someone to ask about purchasing and moving the shelf, only to be told that they had sold the shelf to a department at CSU and were just holding it for them. I'd love to give a place like this 5 stars because I'm a grad student at CSU myself. However, the unhelpful employees on their phones, lack of communication, and clearly inconsistent policies of holding purchased items for people left so much to be desired.

Prices are often egregiously high, but there's a supply of goods that are useful and sometimes affordable. Sometimes I wonder who sets prices because they don't make sense. For example, the store has dozens of HP desktops, but all are priced $150+. If you have that many units, the cost per unit must be lowered due to the law of supply and demand. Likewise, they have dozens of monitors that aren't that great and all are priced quite high. Sometimes I've also seen units that are new that sell for less than the price of the used units in the store.

It's always a grab bag what you'll find at the surplus property and if you find something reasonably priced, it can be worth it.

Hours are inconvenient for anyone who works a job or is in class since they're only open 7:30-4PM on weekdays and closed on weekends.
