Cruise America made my camping experience 100x better than normal. Check in was easy and staff were friendly. The only thing is that when we did an inspection of the RV, there was a strong oder that smelled like Raid. So I had to keep the windows open and air it out as well as Lysol and re wipe everything down. But definitely worth the experience.

Pick up and drop off were easy. Ride was smooth didn’t need the generator. California gas prices killed us but out of state the price of gas was fair. Must say I get why people own these but if you can’t own one and want to save on overall cost of multi-state roadtrip it’s worth the investment.

We had a fun time, but a few things on the RV did not work. The adapter for the power cord was broken, so we were not able to plug into a regular outlet. The table leg broke off the table, so we were not able to convert it back from a bed to a table. The side door had a hard time latching and we could not close it a few times, ad the dead bolt did not work, so we could not properly lock it. The exhaust fan over the stove did not work, so we set off the smoke alarm when we tried to cook on the stove. I went over all this with the agent when I returned the vehicle, and she couldn't care less. I got an insincere apology, and noting else.

We rented a small RV trailer and it was such a great overall experience. The staff at the San Francisco location was so helpful and patient, and our whole experience with our first rv rental was truly 5 star. Now we’re ready to buy our own!

We received absolutely incredible service from every member of the team we dealt with. Rented the Compact plus which was well appointed and clean when we received it.

Only reason we are giving this a 4 star review instead of 5 is that our black water valve was leaking a bit, so would make for a bit of a messy situation whenever we had to dump. This was brought up with the team when we returned and I am sure it will be fixed for the next person renting.

But all in all it was an incredible experience and would recommend Cruise America any day, it was well worth the price.

Tip, if its your first RV rental and you are two people get the smaller compact plus. Will save you tonnes of anxiety driving around looking for parking, especially in more popular areas, as they juuuuuust fit into a standard parking spot if you have to find a place to park.

My daughters and I rented a compact RV from Cruise America and had the time of our lives. The vehicle worked great, we traveled 9000 miles and enjoyed every mile. We had plenty of room, had fun and I enjoyed driving it. I loved the size of the RV, it was easy to park and hook up when we were in campgrounds. There was only one glitch with emptying the black tank, which the company compensated me for. I would do it again in a flash!
