I like CSUSB, but the bookstore is a scam. Zybooks code online for $64, or through the bookstore for $96. It's a code guys, you didn't have to do anything extra, you didn't have to hold product, or have staff handle the product. No, you just sit on a digital code and charge an extra $32 to your already starving students that you already raised tuition on by $1000 this semester.

The students make great employees; they know what the other students seek, and are proficient in lending a hand to faculty as well. The four stars is because speed can always be improved with more human contention. Stocking should happen more often either when closed, or extra staff ... Never let a customer walk around without being greeted AND asked how they can be helped.

Was rushed out of store so they could have easter egg hunt. One staff member spread her arms trying to block me from viewing the area i had planned to shop in. A better tactic..post a sign indicating time store will be unavailable so shoppers can plan to return

I went to the campus to purchase items for my granddaughter who will be attending soon. There is a beautiful new building that has bowling lanes, pool tables and in the back on the bottom floor is a Habit Hamburger grill restaurant just steps from the book store.
There was a good variety of tshirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, umbrellas, sweats, cups all with the school logo. There were other items, but I was looking for clothing items.

Some of the prices seem a little silly. The technology department offers students some very reasonable value. The staff is generally well informed and allows for productive and helpful visits even if just for consultation on a technology product.

I love my school I really do. But the one time I decided to "support" my school it turn in to a bad idea. I rented a book and once it returns I couldn't. There was water damage from the previous owner. I didn't know the crasher was supposed write that down. They made me buy the book I rented because it doesn't "sell" these type of book. Sure it some water damage but it on the corner ( again I was not the caused ). You read the words clear. I had no problems with that why I rented in the first place. Look seriously rent online, they have no problem these of issue, I wish I did. And if you have no choice but to rent from there make sure they write down problem or else you end with a book you really don't need.
