An abundance of books in every genre imaginable! I was passing thru Cortez for work and decided to stop and check this bookstore out. A lovely worker today helped me find books on ceramics which is exactly what I was looking for. I love supporting small businesses and this was a great experience!

They have a huge collection of used books at great prices. The whole place is basically books from wall-to-wall which creates a great atmosphere to browse and find something new.

The gentleman in the store was kind and helpful. You can tell he was knowledgeable and genuinely cared about the books there. This is the cleanest most organized used book store I have ever been in. Many categories to choose from with authors alphabetized. My husband and I are planning a trip next summer to CO, we will travel a couple hours out of the way just to go back.

Definitely a must go if you’re traveling through Cortez. So many amazing new books on herbalism & self-sustainability (and much more). He has a huge selection of used books that are very well organized. We were happy we stopped in!
