Not worth stopping. One of those places that acts like thrift store but is actually an overpriced consignment store for these people to generate income. Their prices are exploitative and show no good faith towards the donations they were given for free.

I love this little store! I’ve found some amazing treasures here. The staff are lovely, and the prices are more than reasonable.
I don’t live in Glenwood Springs, but I make a point to stop here whenever I visit.

***Edit: I cannot reply to the owner’s comment. It was definitely this business. It was on Saturday. We called and spoke to a gentleman afterwards. He asked if the woman who came up and told us “no” had a pink hat on. We said yes, and he said “well, sorry about that. If she said no then she has the authority to say that”.
Bummer. We had a lot of good tools and children’s toys.

We called and were told that they take any household items except for TVs and stained mattresses. We drive 30 minutes to make a donation of tools and other household items and were turned away stating that they only take clothes.

To piggyback off of the review that Maegan Hayes left, we were turned away and it was definitely Community Thrift & Treasure. We have plenty of people that were there as witness. I have no qualms with blasting this all over social media and local groups, especially after the owners response. Super disappointed in how this has been handled. I highly suggest people go to other thrift stores, they are run by better people with better morale.
