Great Colorful Colorado Rest Stop Visitors Center! This is a medium size property with room for any size rig or RV. The lots were clean, well maintained, well lit and fairly level. The visitor center and bathrooms were clean and well maintained. There is an RV dump station, pet areas, observation deck and free coffee. Lots of travel information about the area and state. Staff was pleasant and very knowledgeable. I had full bars of Verizon 4G LTE Roaming.

Very well lit, public bathrooms, cool teepees to have a roadside picnic under and best of all is it's free to stay here. Great stop for the weary traveler

I had bigger hopes for this one.
The Good: staff were extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Lookout tower was good. Had free books. Penny-press for the kids.
The Opportunities: in big need to cleaning up the grounds(landscaping), debris needed pickup/cleaned up and damaged landscaping bricks looked to be damaged for quite a while.

Very nice rest stop with free coffee and tons of brochures for Colorado experiences. There was staff or maybe volunteers and they were really kind.

There was also a nice little walk for me to get my dog some exercise, as well as actual outdoor running water to get her a drink. The only rest stop from PA to Colorado where I found functioning outdoor water!

It did what needed to be done. The center welcomed me to Colorado, although it wasn't very colorful. Nice little walking trail to stretch your legs (or your wheels if you're handicapped). Several areas for the fur babies as well. Both my pups utilized this feature and seemed to approve. The inside is FILLED with dead trees in the form of pamphlets and maps for every imaginable activity in Colorado, separated into geographic areas. I would definitely stop here again if nature willed in for me.

Been here several times. I always stop every time I come to Colorado. It's a tradition to stop and have a meal in are of the Teepees. There is interesting historical information to look at and read about as well. Very nice building and facilities.
