As an Active Golfer (playing nearly 100 rounds/yr—where I walk) it’s very difficult to justify this purchase due to course/teetime restrictions/ # of days out/ play after 12-1pm/ Mon-Thurs/ ‘free’ cart/ plus the OOPS factor when you missed a ‘gotcha’ restriction when at the course/ etc.
Wish that courses would work with Avid to make teetimes more accessible to Avid members. Give Avid 10 days out from play date— then it’s open to all. I would even pay more for that rather than the current free for all-with very little/no chance of scoring a teetime. Literally, it’s a Lottery ticket chance-ALL will pay to participate—Very Few will Win.

Love/applaud the idea….but the concept needs work internally.

Huge fan of my Colorado AvidGolf Passport! Have friends and family that have made the purchase too. Lucky to have played at many new courses at a good value, The Bridges in Montrose, Pelican Lakes in Windsor and even down to 4 Mile Ranch in Cannon City. Even all day practice at Green Valley Ranch for only $15 x 3 per season. South Suburban par 3, Hertige Eagle bend some many good tracks. $20 coupon for the PGA store is included, used it on a new pair of shoes.

Have to mention the trip to Mesquite. Took this visit last year for Xmas. Golfing on Xmas Eve was sweet. They set up the rooms and tees times at both courses.(The Casablanca of the two for me).
The hotel is a casino and they have a great restaurant right there called Katherine's. Amazing date night. Also, the spa is great with access to a huge hot pool/tub all day.

Overall this is a great value if you want to play some of Colorado best courses. Fort Collins to Pueblo, Steamboat to Fort Morgan I have used this Passport. This guy will continue to purchase the Passport every season. Using this book as spoiled me as a golfer.

One happy golfer, play at least 40 rounds a year. Love the early and late season deals with this deal. Buy it and use it . See you out there putting for birds.

The coupon book is a great value even if one just occasionally plays golf. The restaurant discounts are an added bonus that I take advantage of. Have already purchased my 2020 Passport coupon book.

It is a good deal if you like to ride during non-peak hours and pay close attention to the restrictions set forth by each course. However, my complaint comes with the fact that there is no incentive for walking - the discount provided basically eliminates the cart fee (~$15/round). Which, again, is nice you if ride, but if you prefer to walk then this pass isn't really a good deal.

Not for me again. I was charged twice, once at the store and again when I tried to activate it online. Two phone calls to try to get credit and no call backs. Used it twice and saved about $10. Better deals through courses or other online booking service. Also, the store was out of the bonus golf balls, and my fault, but did not make it back to the Centennial store, and 88th Ave store did not seem to share interest in the program.

I bought this package from Costco but you have to get a passport number to use your benefits but It was never sent. I contacted them 3 times and got a response twice. After 7 weeks I still did not receive my sticker to put in my passport book. I returned my purchase to Costco. I have a friend who bought his on line and had no problem but he told me he would probably not do it again.

We have used Avid Golfer for several years, and it has always been good for us. However, over the past couple of years more and more of the courses in the passport restrict use by putting time restrictions in their availability. That severely limits play and makes us look for other deals. Especially during the week M-Th.

i wont buy this again due to almost all the courses are monday thru thursday after 1:00. the times allowed for play do not work for me and alot of the people i play with. i will be looking at the other deals that are out there at the golf expo which are much better for time of play with the cost being very comparable. if things change with your program i would look at it again. let me know if things change. kp
