What a great place to stay, super easy to find and incredibly helpful employees who treat you like you grew up in Montpelier and they’ve known you since you were kids-America at its heart- Miranda the front desk assistant was very accommodating, helpful, caring (we had come for a Funeral) and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and a good nights rest; Katie the Assistant Manager was equally as helpful in the morning - so you know it’s just a part of their company culture to give people a great experience.

Good clean rooms with comfortable beds that were nicer and newer than I expected in a small town hotel. The breakfast was fine, nothing fancy, but adequate. Friendly staff made a good impression.

Cathy was friendly and helpful when we called to make reservations along our motorcycle trip up the Rockies headed for The Tetons and Yellowstone. We appreciate being able to park our bikes out front of our ground floor room. The rooms were fresh and clean and the beds comfortable. We walked across the street for a delicious dinner at El Jaliciense Mexican Restaurant. Complimentary breakfast was delicious with all the fixings! Highly recommend 👏

What a wonderful place! Every inch of this dog-friendly property was clean & the hot breakfast was worth paying a little extra in the nightly rate. We stayed one night in Soda Springs & were so disappointed in their lodging options, we drove to Montpelier for what would've been our 2nd night in Soda Springs. As it turned out, we loved the property & the community so much, we extended our "mini-vacation" for another day! There is an on-site bar (The Clover Creek Sports Bar), & while there is no pool, there is a hot tub! The room was clean & spacious, & the shower was amazing. We both got 2 excellent nights' sleep, & we both got 2 wonderfully filling hot breakfasts. The location is fabulous; we walked across the street to both the National California/Oregon Trail Museum & to an excellent Mexican restaurant, & we were in short driving distance to the Paris Tabernacle & the Big Hill section of the Oregon Trail. After a day of museums, hiking, & exploring by car, I hung out at the bar with a surprising number of locals. Every employee we encountered (including housekeeping, several of the front-desk/breakfast staff, the bartender, & some guy repairing a piece of furniture out back) was smiling & seemed to genuinely be happy to be at work. How refreshing! 100% of our experience here was positive. I highly recommend Clover Creek Inn (& bar)! (Note to management: the hot tub could come down a few degrees.)

Rooms were great. Mostly everything was great except for a worker (Katie) was extremely rude to me and my friends for simply asking questions. Rude to her fellow staff horrendously belittled one woman in particular. And appeared to be drunk as a skunk one evening while on shift? Didn't seem very professional to me and my friends but what do we know 🤷? The best thing I can think of this place doing is getting rid of her.

Upon arrival I ensured that our room was recently updated. Our room had a certain odor to it but it wasn’t more than we could handle. It had fresh paint and carpet. The bath tub and toilet were very clean. The service from the desk was helpful and courteous.

The continental breakfast was on par with other chain motel/hotels. It had a waffle maker, yogurt, scrambled eggs, a meat dish, fresh fruit, granola, danishes, donuts, juice, milk, cereal, bagels, toast, muffins and more…

The AC unit was mounted in the wall and was easy to use. I am not sure if other rooms had the same thing. I noticed another room had a different type of AC unit. I read the reviews before coming to this Inn and brought my own pillow. (The pillows provided are small) We had a double queen room and there was plenty of room that we used an inflatable twin mattress for our family of 5. The refrigerator was clean and worked well. The microwave was small and worked well. The TV had DishNetwork service I believe.

This place was better than some national chain motels I’ve stayed at. I also recommend Dans Drive In and Studebaker’s Pizza restaurants in town.
