This shop is crunchy and varied - exactly what I like in a family owned store. I expect the employees to be busy and opinionated. This place is as much of a curio as it is a competent firearms store. I don't think paying the lowest price possible at a place where the salesman is going to tell you what you want to hear is the best way to buy a gun. Rather, I like the fact that Cliff's has its own competency and the employees are happy to work safely within it. A true link in the community, a family friendly piece of Idaho living history. Hunters, bench shooters and 2nd amendment defenders should be at home here. The reloading area is one of the best around. Second hand and antique safes for a distinct fit in the home of any advocate or collector. CLOSE OUTS!! and parts and equipment for DIYers. I feel supported here!

Very basic unless you are wanting just reloading supplies, other than that then no better deals than you would find at a Cabela's or general sporting goods store. Also staff seemed very unwilling to want to talk and selection of safes in store was very sub par. If you want reloading supplies and don't want to wait for an online delivery, then they would suffice for that or you wanted some consignment guns. If there were a more diverse selection of floor model safes or gun, I would rate 4 stars.

Support your local gun store! Great staff of knowledgeable people there to help everyone from the curios to the marksman. They have a large selection to choose from and a good variety of accessories too. Kevin P. helped me decide what to buy and they had ammo when a large national chain was sold out. Thank you!

I’ve been coming here for a while. Usually for reloading supplies. But each time I come in it seems like a worse experience than the last time. The staff is hardly inviting. The prices on used weapons is high. The older female employee I’ve heard regularly trashing customers. And the others do the bare minimum of asking if you want to look at something, but no enthusiasm in actually doing so. In the years I’ve been coming here, I’ve maybe had one employee who was helpful to me. The dog inside has better customer service than just about anyone else in there. Think I’ll stay away from now on.

Great shop, decent selection of old and new guns, good prices on ammo. Friendly staff. Just an odd layout. The gun side of the shop is cramped and the other side is wide open with alot of space. Should do some rearranging but if thats the only issue then there isnt much wrong!

Absolutely the best reloading shop in town. Even other stores will say that. Also notably good ammo prices, wide assortment of firearms, and really friendly staff. Even Cliff has helped us. If it's not already in your list of gun shops to visit it should be.
