Some of the nicest city officials I have ever met work and live in Iona. The pictures here are from the annual “Iona Days” where free meals are provided along with lots of entertainment. Residents have many chances to volunteer at booths, serving food, setting up and taking down, and a myriad of others. That’s the cool part about Iona, everyone has the chance to pitch in.

At Iona days are food booths, a car show, music and entertainment, animal rides, even a hot air balloon ride this year, bounce houses, an obstacle course, a parade, and much more. It’s fun for the whole family quite literally.

Other things the city does are annual Iona cleanup days where communities gather and clean up a portion of the city so it stays as clean as possible. There are great parks, a small splash pad and so much more. The only thing missing is a grocery store haha. But being so close to Idaho Falls, it isn’t a big deal.

The city building itself has a library, city offices, and even a preschool downstairs. I’ve always been impressed with my interactions with others in this place.

Our Company was hired to replace the roof on the City Buildings. The city of Iona employees are amazing!!! Zech was great to work with from Beginning to end. I've included some before and after pictures.
