Smithsonian worthy museum! So many areas : cabin homes, children’s rooms, automobiles, covered wagons, school room, way of life and business world - but the most moving were the ‘war’ rooms. I was sobbing Everything was authentic. Even the mannequins had a look of sadness and resignation. My only suggestion would be to put a bench or two to sit on while visiting. It’s a lot to take in.

We had the best day touring this absolutely incredible museum! My seven year old was so enthralled. Every display has so much intention and very well thought out! What a jaw dropping collection and the people were kind and full of knowledge! We can't wait to go back!!

We were surprised at how large and how much historical items this museum has acquired! Great history of the Twin Falls area and the families that founded it.

This place looks closed, but it's not! It is only open for tourist season. March - October, I Believe. I love this place!! There are many buildings to explore, much more than it appears from the road or parkng lot. There is a rail caboose outside in the front and in one of the buildings there is a beautiful old full size rail passenger car! There are many amazing historical artifacts and tons of memorabilia here. Some of the displays are showing age, and three are some areas that have been closed for safety reasons. There was a bad snow storm last winter that damaged a building and caused water damage to some exibits. There is still plenty to see, and well worth the FREE ENTRY!! I would say well worth a donation. I made a $5 donation on my way out the door the first time, and do so every time I walk in the door since, and feel it well worth it. $5 a head or top it out at $20 for as many as you pack in your car or RV, seems very reasonable. The docents are well educated in regard to the historical facts and legends and have a story to go with every item and display. A real Idaho hidden treasure! Kids and adults love it just the same!
