This was our third stay at the Bross and each visit has been spectacular. Mike and Suzanne, innkeepers, have been amazing hosts. Together they provide such a great atmosphere and they maintain clean, comfortable, and cozy rooms in this beautiful historic landmark in Paonia. The breakfasts are artistically delicious and we love that they are locally sourced. Plus, we had a rare treat on 8 October for an in-house concert (Showman & Coole) which was an outstanding old-timey, bluegrass, folk experience. We had so much fun that we wished that we had stayed the whole week. The Bross hotel is a great place to stay and if you get a chance to see one of the concert series, then DO! You will not regret it. Thank you again for another amazing stay.

We have spent many a night at bed and breakfasts. This one is top on our list. Starting as soon as we entered the parking lot, the building is magnificent. Original features and mindful improvements keeps this hotel historical while functional. Great wine selection, cozy rooms, comfortable beds and an unforgettable breakfast. Mike was very helpful, and everyone in town was engaging. Highly recommended.

Suzanne and Mike are wonderful, welcoming hosts! It's the place i go when i need to "run away from home." Their breakfasts are delicious, generous, fresh and pure delight! Their rooms are cozy, comfortable, warm, and inviting. I've been going to the Bross at least annually for several days since returning to Denver in 2009. I have no complaints. Love it there! Peaceful, beautiful, in town and walking distance to many fabulous restaurants. You won't be disappointed!

We had a delightful stay at the Bross during the Fall Harvest Festival. The room was really comfortable. The Inn had several outdoor spaces you could curl up and relax, have a takeaway meal, or just enjoy the weather. The breakfasts were hearty, unusual and very creative. They were as beautiful as they were delicious! We would recommend the Bross anytime.

The Bross Hotel is an elegant, comfortable place to stay in Paonia! We enjoyed the variety of music playing in the reception area. The breakfasts were beautifully presented and delicious! Suzanne and Mike are friendly, caring hosts who made us feel very welcome. The location is very convenient to the downtown area and the city park, where we enjoyed the Harvest Festival. Paonia is a charming town with many local farms and bakeries nearby.

Lovely historic BnB. Highly recommend. Paonia area is GORGEOUS and staying at this BnB is the cherry on top! The accommodations are beautiful and clean. The food... well, some of the BEST breakfast I have ever experienced. A party for your taste buds! 3rd floor room was warm by the end of the day but opened windows and let in the cool Colorado night air. You should go experience it!

We had a delightful time at the Bross Hotel. It is in a great central location, the accommodations were very clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were excellent. Suzanne and Mike are really wonderful innkeepers and very attentive to their guests wants and needs. We will definitely plan another trip to Paonia.

We recently stayed at the Bross for a long weekend, and unfortunately, our experience was not what we’d hoped. On the day of our check in, we received a call from the host Suzanne letting us know that the heat wasn’t working in the Wild Raspberry room we originally booked, so she was moving us to a different room, the Honeysuckle. Suzanne told us if we’d like a different room we could discuss that the next day.

When we arrived, we realized that this room, the Honeysuckle, was significantly smaller and had much less amenities than the room we had booked originally.

Based on what Suzanne told us we approached the host Mike to ask about moving to a different room that was more similar in size and amenities to the room we booked. Despite confirming that there were available rooms similar to the one we had booked, Mike was dismissive of our concerns and rude and refused to move us to a different room.

Overall, while the setting of the bed and breakfast was very charming and the breakfast delicious, the experience fell short due to the lack of communication and flexibility. It would have been helpful if the they had been more responsive to our concerns.
