They're selling bootleg items, and a lot of their stuff is overpriced. $15 for a used and dirty acrylic stand, that's the same price for a NEW one. I'm disappointed that they're selling bootleg stuff... Bookoff used to be a great place to buy affordable used stuff. Now, they're overpriced. The only good thing I found was this 90's Sailor Mercury doll for $45.

The store is amazing. A very large store with lots and lots of Manga stuff! The customer service is pretty good, there are some rude ones though. I get that work should be a little fun, but I don't want to hear the staff conversations and bull$#!t while I am shopping. Downside, the aisles are so narrow that you feel like you are bumping into people constantly.

Absolutely massive selection of merchandise. There’s an entire wall (and a half) of CDs, loads of DVDs and video games, and of course loads of books. There’s also a side of the store dedicated to figurines and such, if you’re into that sort of stuff.

Prices are mostly reasonable, as well.

Staff, was friendly pricing wasn't what I was looking for ten cent for the videos in great shape no scratches ? it's cool blessings to received what was offered.
Very thoughtful to have this place around great to recycle.

Great place to sell your used books and find new books to read. They have baskets to hold the items you want to buy. They also sell games, CDs, and figurines. The only thing that would make it better is a couple of chairs. It's nice to sit and read through books a little to see if you really want to buy them.

Super overpriced and they sell replica/fake items. Upon bringing this up to their team they laughed and giggled and left the item on shelf. It’s a high priced horror bishojo figure and it’s a knock off . You can tell this by looking at box and lack of detail. Very sketch attitude from employees and honestly a shame because they’ll operate like game stop and offer you $6-20 for your $300 item yet sell $20 knock offs for $350+ knowing they’re fake . This could’ve been a mistake and team didn’t know they purchased a knock off but in that case hire a better authentication team. And remove fake items off shelf. I can genuinely sit in the store and probably point out 5-10 fakes within 10 minutes of being inside . If you’re a collector beware an do your research. Place is dope it’s the lazy employees that suck.

Compared to the book offs located at Little Tokyo and Del Amo, this location is disorganized, and there are some items that look questionable in authenticity or are just maintained poorly. Some pre-owned items are stupidly overpriced for being heavily used and visibly worn, you could save money and get a better product by importing from Japan.

This location is just subpar compared to other ones that specialize in anime and manga.
