Bookishly happy is truly one of my favorite bookshops and places in our community. It offers a wide selection of books, including many titles I don't see in other bookstores. I’ve picked up many a favorite I might have never come across elsewhere.
The environment is very warm and welcoming. You walk into shelves and stacks of well-organized books, a friendly smile from wherever is at the front, and soft music from a well-known soundtrack- a book-lover’s paradise.
I have loved seeing the changes that Alex and the staff have brought to the store, crafting it into the true gem it is today. I don’t get to go as often as I like, but I always leave feeling refreshed and excited to dive into the hoard of new books I’ve purchased! I cannot recommend this store enough. It is a must go for both visitors to the area and locals alike.

Super welcoming environment and the only place I consistently buy books. The store is has a very cozy vibe and HUGE selection of all genres. The prices are phenomenal for like new condition books (I feel like I'm usually looking at around $5/book in the thriller section as opposed to anywhere from $10-$20 online or in new bookstores). Combine this with a large and fairly-priced selection of book accessories and it's a great one stop shop.

I also love their trade in option. I often buy books from them and then bring them back for credit to put towards new books. Sort of like a library with a more personalized return frame that works for you.

Additionally, the owner has some great practices in place, one of which being sensory-friendly options. She has cool things like commonly asked questions signs for those that are nonverbal and there's no jarring music/loud environmental noises (save for when there are larger families there when we stop by). This is always appreciated since I have auditory sensory issues.

Overall, I absolutely love this shop and recommend it to any readers (avid or not) I know!

What a great little find. It's not the largest bookstore in the world, but there were still a lot of options for me to look through. Even better, there were enough chairs for people to set and peruse the books. The staff was helpful and friendly. Definitely worth checking out, just don't take the books I want. LOL

This is my favorite place for books. They don't just have books that the big book stores push at you because they are guaranteed sellers. This store has hard to find, out of print books that are gems. The service is always great!

I’m a big reader and my toddler absolutely loves books so I’m extra glad I found this local gem. They have a nice selection and phenomenal prices. They offer a great credit program, too, and it’s shocking how little I spend for how much we get with the credit. Awesome service, too. Owner Alex is great and so helpful. I was there again yesterday and I got five books for my daughter and a novel for my mom and spent under three dollars. And, just one of the books alone would be $10 brand new for my kiddo (a large Disney golden book). I recommend this shop to many and buy gift cards for people as well. Great gift idea! Thanks, Alex!

Support ur local indie bookstore!!! Also that's what was printed on the cute sticker I snagged from here as well as a pile of books that I'm excited to dive into 🩷 Any day spent at a bookstore is a good one, especially if it's this bookstore. Do yourself a favor and stop in. The lady working was especially helpful & kind.
