Bookish: An Indie Shop for Folks Who Read

Sara and company are the best bookshop in the region, maybe the country. They're always knowledgeable, helpful and nice. The shop is cozy, fun, quirky and kid friendly. They hold nearly daily events, and are very involved with readers and writers, locally. Of course Barrie is the best part.

Bookish is a delightful independent bookstore. I love Barrie, the bookstore cat! The folks there are helpful, accommodating and pleasant. Highly recommend. A+++

If you're looking for a small, local owned book store this place is amazing. The owner and staff have always been so kind and helpful. The selection is amazing and they can order almost anything. They've helped me countless times find books for myself and my kiddos. They have multiple book clubs with amazing people invovled and do all sorts of little events.

This bookstore is so cool! They have a wide selection, storytime for littles on Saturday mornings, LGBTQ+ friendly, the employees are awesome and theres a cat! I honestly can't say enough about this place.

We were here for a private event that was after hours. The shop was so supportive and accommodating of our group. The shop couldn't be more adorable and the collection is small but mighty! The children's area is a great touch. If you need a gift for a bookish person in your life or need to give yourself a little something, this is a GREAT place for that. Loved it and wished we had something like this in my town.
