The Jacey Journey

I really like this book store. It’s a smaller guy but they do a lot with their space and it’s SUPER organized, which is the best part. Everything is categorized and in alphabetical order. It’s fun to browse and there’s both a selection of new, used, children, fiction, non fiction and the worker often greets customers as they walk in. It’s a charming bookstore for Olde Town and I like to stop in whenever I’m in the area. I’ll even go after I stop at the public library. They also have local Colorado books!

This book store is very cute has a great selection of used and new book. My daughter wanted to go here for her birthday so we all went as a family and the woman that was working in the store that day made all of us so uncomfortable asking us if we were together and to stay as a group looked over our shoulders as if we were stealing everything we touched she was rude not welcoming, we paid for my daughters books and as she was walking out this woman stood in front of the door and asked her if she paid for her book, not may I see your receipt before you leave she stood in front of the door so we couldn't leave my daughter said yes her is my receipt and we asked if we could leave now and she never really moved out of the way scanning all of us as we left it was so uncomfortable and unprofessional we will not be going back, we tried supporting small business but in the future we will find another small business book store to support very unfortunate experiences

Great second hand book shop with a wide selection and good prices. Worth popping in to check out when in Olde Town Arvada. They have a little something for everyone.

They also have an excellent selection of postcards ranging from vintage to pop culture to local Colorado views.

Took my 13 year old in to grab a few things. Charming place with fair prices! Staff is friendly and helpful! The owner wrote their own program in Excel to track inventory and that's probably the coolest thing about this place!! 🫡 A++ come check it out.

I thoroughly appreciate the atmosphere of this bookstore. I just wanted to explore all the bins looking for my next favorite read. Luckily for my wallet, the author I was looking for was right in front and the books were reasonably priced, so I didn't have to go any further into the store and get myself into financial trouble. And I appreciated the search link for the store as well. It really helped me find the next book in the series I'm reading.

I appreciate the wide-range of books and organization of the store. I’m not giving the store 5 stars because all the books on Judaism are literally out of reach for anyone who isn’t tall. It’s not where I’d bring my books connected to Jewish history and culture to sell because they’re not easy to see or take off the shelf.

Do not shop here! The woman is incredibly rude. I came here a few years ago, where she lectured my daughter for looking at books and touching them. Today, we thought we would give them another try- she proceeded to lecture my husband for reading a book to my toddler. Telling him “to be careful” as it was a like new book. This lady has been a Scrooge for years here, and is the sole reason they do not receive my business. I will also add, they are extremely overpriced for carrying used books.
