The Main Library is always a clean, safe, friendly, well stocked place to be. You can just sit and enjoy a great book:)

First time having been to this location and it was warming and the staff were very friendly. They also have different rooms and on the upper levels they give room to others interest to use their rooms to serve the community.

The library building is decent being that the bathrooms were just remodeled.. The librarians could use a little more training on there job description and what that includes.. The security guys are childish and immature like to pick and choose on what rules to inforce depending on if there their feelings are getting the best of them that day.. they also need to be re-trained on the rules and policy... And which ones apply to the patron and which apply to the employee...

You have to wear a mask. For peace & quiet, best place to go. I love this library. Its beautiful and everything you need to feed the intellect, relax or use your laptop or 1 of their available computers. You can print too. This "antique" phone booth is just outside the Library.

This library was really great for the kids. They have a large area / room for the kids. There were at least 15 different activities for them. They have many reading areas for them as well as a reading amphitheater and there own restrooms in the same area. Staff was friendly and helpful to the kids.

I love the Boise public library! The staff is always professional, polite, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I have ordered some very obscure books from the Boise public library, which they secured from me all over the United States. There’s never been a book that I wanted that I could not obtain for free or for as little as three dollars. What a wonderful public institution that I think all citizens should take advantage of thank you Boise, public library!

The library has always been a great place to go. Staff picks, the summer reading program, the little room where you can buy books and magazines, the Book Page magazine, and the staff are a few examples of all you can do at our public library.
