Great place, is situated in a larger store where there are multiple vendors. Only problems were that no one answered the phone when I called, and it was hard to find the place. Aside from that, wonderful selection. Even had a couple displays for people to look at.

Really cool, lots of stock. Always has something that I’m looking for. It’s really nice to have a dependable train store in Boise, since it is the only one. The Walthers ordering is really nice too.

July 21st, I telephoned the owner Bodden, about some train items I had to sell or trade. I asked how about Monday the 24th? Sure I can come in. We set up a time between 1030 and 1045 on Monday the 24th, and I repeated it to ensure clarity. Monday my wife and I showed up at his store at 1020. We drove from south Nampa. He's not there. We wait til 1045, I called his number, and left a voice mail to include my phone #. At 1105, we told the front clerk to tell him Terry was there. Clerk said did you have an appoint, I said yes. Its 1:30 PM still no phone call, no explanation. Glad I can order on-line and take my stuff to the Great Train Show. I've bought items from him before, but no more. Simply rude at best.

Owner is a great guy to work with and really cares about what he does. Always happy to help even when he doesn’t have an item in stock or isn’t at the store.

Good selection of model railroading items, with different things coming in fairly frequently. This place is a booth inside the Boise's Best Marketplace multivendor mall. They recently expanded the size of the booth to include even more for your train-related enjoyment, including another functioning layout on display. This place has probably the best selection of N-scale items in stock in the Boise area. Prices seem pretty fair.the booth is not always manned by someone knowledgeable about model railroading, but you can shop any of the hours the little mall is open, and there is someone with keys if what you want is in a locked display case. You can reach the store owner by phone, the number is listed on a sign near the front of the booth.
