Just remember that Big R is not the only option around, you can drive into town and go to Murdochs or Tractor Supply for better pricing and much better customer service. Website states that they will price match the exact product if lower at local competitors (hint hint, the two stores just listed) but they refused. They have matched in the past, so who knows - perhaps new management or just employees not being trained. I recommend shopping elsewhere if you can. Come here if you are not in need of customer service or a reasonable price.

I have only ever had one issue with service from this location. It was with the guy who was filling my propane bottle first thing in the morning had a really bad attitude and told me that I had to have the bottle upright and strapped in or he wouldn't fill the bottle. Even the propane company down the road doesn't care if it's laying down or upright. They just opened and the man was completely stressed out don't know why. I gave five stars because every other time I've been here they give great service and are friendly and helpful. I love this location

Haven't been to the store in about a year due to poor service and rude staff. Stopped in to give it a try and guess what, even worse this go around. How many staff members to assist in store 0 how many up front to put a wagon together 5 , 3 to watch 2 to figure out how a tire goes on. Had to physically walk up to one wait till he got through talking to ask to get some chickens. The individual had no clue had to show him the picture of bird. Then the poor birds were over packed. He then found one under the food tray that apparently they set it on. Then at register they wouldn't look up my military info for a discount that I registered for also would not look up my 4H kiddo to give her a discount. I tried to not be rude about it but they made such a rude deal out of it. That I finally said we will be sure and take our business elsewhere and be sure to worn others in club to avoid the rude unprofessional service. Also I liked how the staff all wore store jackets except for the one older male who was in a Hawaiian shirt "'real professional " figured he must be in charge to be able to dress unprofessional but yet he knew nothing and had to ask the other person at register but yet still acted like a jerk. Poor service, poor attitude, poor animal care. Keep in mind next time you head that way. Almost forgot charged turkey price for chicks. Man didn't even look in box

I bought a Carry-On trailer from this location and had the best customer service I have received from a store in many, many years. Ken, the store Manager, and several employees greeted my wife and I when we entered the store and when I told him what we were looking for he helped us right from the beginning and all the way through the process. He explained everything and made it very enjoyable to work with him on the trailer purchase. He even checked everything on the trailer to make sure it was ready to go, including tightening the lug nuts on the trailer wheels. He and his staff were very helpful and kind, and it was worth the drive from our house in Larkspur to their store. In this age when customer service has gone out the window he and his team were awesome. We will shop there again!

I called and talked to the manager Lilly after and issue with staff and my daughter. She was amazing, professional, and sincere. She reviewed footage, called me back to follow through, addressed staff and was so nice. Offered compensation and to file a formal complaint which I declined. Lilly is very professional and an asset to this store!
