Great selection at variable prices compared to similar stores in the area.
The cash register person seemed displeased I had a bunch of “good deals” from a sale rack, and acted like I was stealing from her despite leaving a bunch of $$ at the store. The items weren’t her size either, so not sure what was the issue.

I asked for a price check on a small dog toy, but decided not to buy because it was overpriced. When I asked if I were charged for it while paying, the clerk checked the computer screen, looked at my face and said no. When I checked the receipt at home , I was charged for the price check item after I specifically asked about it and was told I was not. I didn’t lose any sleep over it, but did not enjoy the attitude and dishonesty.

I bought a bunch of stuff at various prices, left way over 200$ at the store, but was treated like a thief and got attitude.

Never been to a place where they won’t sell you a firearm after you PASS YOUR BACKGROUND CHECK. All because my address on my ID don’t match the address I’m living at what a joke. Won’t be coming back ever after spending thousands on hardware and tools.not to mention I’m still trying to get my money back.

I went in this morning for pellets and the entire staff was very friendly and willing to help load them even though they were busy! I appreciate every staff member on shift for their excellent customer service today!

Got yelled at by the guy who closes the gate after they closed. He was so rude and angrily honked at me. He later yelled at me. Sheesh. I made a mistake thinking they were open past 8. Thank God Cortez has other feed stores I can go to.

The first time we came in the cashier said if I signed up on the rewards program that after 10 bags of feed you get one free. We have continually came here for the feed because the feed is good and our animals prefer it but...we haven't ever received a free bag after buying 10 bags. We get at least 12 bags of feed a month. When I inquire about it at the store the answer is the same from every clerk that they have no idea how your rewards program works.

The cashier was not nice to my grandson yesterday, he tried saying thank you and good bye just ignored my grandson he is only 4 years old, maybe she was prejudice to Native Americans .☹️

They have a really good selection of clothes, outdoor stuff, farm stuff and camping stuff. There is plenty of parking with lots of room for trailers. Every time I'm in Cortez I usually stop by for something.

Decent place that I'd position has halfway between a Rural King/Tractor Supply and an Ace Hardware.

If you know what you're getting and don't need assistance you'll have the retail experience you're expecting. If you need a human to access something or resolve an error in their retail system, expect to be there a long time and leave frustrated.

My issue was over the pricing if an electric weed eater. The sticker price of each component (weed eater, battery, charger) was each equal to what the total package (all three components) were priced at nearly every competing retailer.

I pointed out the error the MOD and showed where the stocking clerk had likely made the innocent mistake. I pulled up the same item on Lowes, Amazon, etc. to show the prices to the manager, and also kindly pointed out how there's no way a company, logically, would try to bring a weed eater to market costing over $1000, or, that his corporate office would be trying to sell something nearly $700 more than competitors.

While friendly, the MOD didn't agree with my view nor accept my request for a price match. He said that was their price and there was nothing he could do

I gave up, went home and bought online from Amazon. It was an hour of my time at the store, but four days later I had a beautiful yard and an extra $700 in my pocket.
