The room was clean and reasonable priced. The breakfast set up and waffle maker offered a wonderful experience. Access to the juice/coffee machine 24hrs was fantastic! The Staff was extremely helpful and nice. This location has a great hot tub and sauna available. The pool needs to be deep cleaned. Over all I had a great stay.

No complaints! Great value for the stay. |We particularly enjoyed the pool/spa. Pool and hot tub clean and not over chlorinated which made relaxing in the room enjoyable. Staff were excellent, attentive and friendly. Easy to find pet station stocked with bags- thank you. Pet friendly room was as expected and bed/linens were clean and comfortable. Would stay again!

We arrived at the Hotel and were advised that a water heater was not working and that it would take thirty minutes to get hot water in our room. The water took approximately 45 minutes to heat up.
We were in a pet friendly room and immediately noticed an air freshener as we walked in. After approximately two hours the room smelled of pet urine because the air freshener was no longer working.
I let them know that we needed to change rooms. I spoke with the front desk and they said would call as soon as they had a clean room.
We never received a call. They changed us to another room for our last night after I spoke to them again.
We also had no cable connection in our room for about 80 percent of our stay. The beds were not comfortable. The elevator was not operational.
I like to travel and this was one of the worst stays.

Came to Canon City for a basketball tournament with a group of 20+ and we were glad we chose to stay at Best Western. Not only is it cost effective but the staff added to the pleasant experience!

Keaton the manager was highly accommodating and very friendly. Tammy behind the desk was warm, welcoming, and always eager to help. Every hotel employee we encountered treated us with kindness, respect, and a willingness to help. The rooms were spacious, the pool was fun, and the breakfast was delicious. No complaints!

Checkin was a great experience. Greeted with cookies, and the kids got to choose a small toy from the treasure box. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. ||The kids had a great time in the pool. Pool and workout area are open 24 hours. ||Breakfast was good. A nice variety of options. My daughter was a disappointed they had run out of bacon and it wasn’t restocked while we were eating. ||Had a small problem in our room with shower moisture causing the fire alarm to go off. Had to open the room window and crack room door to create air flow to get the alarm to shut off while showering. ||Overall the hotel was clean and comfortable. My daughter said I needed to leave a good review because she was very pleased with our stay.

We stayed 2 nights mid week last week. We loved the location. We stayed because of the sauna and jacuzzi amenities. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi jets was not working. The sauna only got up to 160 after turning it on for 30 minutes to warm up. We stayed because it was close to the Thunder Dome Royal Gorge Train. We visited the prison museum too. The hotel was nice, but the heater fan in our room was noisy. Their continental breakfast was excellent and they kept it well stocked and neat. We would stay again, but call to make sure everything is working. We had asked if it was open and they said yes, but I guess we needed to ask if it was operationally working. If the jacuzzi and sauna is your thing, call ahead to see if they fixed it yet.

The lady I made reservations with was the best part of this nightmare. Forgot her name. She was very friendly and helpful as to local area.
The night clerk literally told me to let the hot water run for 20 minutes as only one boiler was working. The bathroom was not very clean, had red mold growing in the shower/ tub area. The ceiling tiles were all in disarray. If there is remodeling going on it is fine, but the workers need to button it up at the end of the day. The two guys at the front desk in the morning were unprofessional, and Aaron? (dark longer hair) actually rolled his eyes when I canceled my second night because the hot tub was gross and it was one of the selling points when I made the reservation, is ridiculous to have to wait 20 minutes for hot water in my room and not acceptable. The outside was slick and dangerous with ice from the parking lot to the entire sidewalk. A little effort to keep customers safe, can go a long way!

The staff was fabulous. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was very good omelet sausage waffles, etc. They even had a treat for my little dog. Definitely recommend them. The entire hotel was very well kept. Ample parking. I felt safe and secure with my stay and the price was very reasonable.
