Completely unexpected and surpassed all expectations! We went in as amateurs, hoping to record a couple songs to share with friends. We came out with 2 professionally arranged, mixed, and masters sound extravaganzas! The professionalism and expertise blended with kindness and gentle feedback give this studio the backwoods appeal we hoped for. Where music row will give you a taste of the machine, Tony Ray and Patti (and Emmy) make you feel at home! Recommended for all levels- amateur to professional. You get more than just your voice on tape, you get a full production experience! Go!

I wrote song lyrics for my daughter's "daddy/daughter" dance for her wedding and then contracted Tony Ray to make it into a song. Tony Ray explained the step by step process clearly up front and delivered exactly what he promised. He made suggestions for subtle lyric changes and sent a draft he composed/sang himself prior to adding instruments and vocals to ensure i was comfortable with the overall vibe of the song. We couldn't be happier with the results. The individual instruments were timed perfectly with the flow of the song, harmonized together in the chorus and the vocalist was like a mix of George Strait and Alan Jackson. I asked for a traditonal country vibe and he delivered beyong my expectations. Great, "genuine" guy to work with.......i highly recommend.

Backwoods Recording Studio, one of the finest Recording facilities, nestled in the woods, so relaxing and a great atmosphere for creating your masterpiece. Tony and Patty, the owners, are wonderful. Tony has been in the music business since the 80's, a great singer/songwriter and producer in his own right, Tony cares about the song, the music and the client.

We spent a few days with Mr Tony and Mrs Patty and what a joy they were to be around! Our daughter wanted to record a few songs and so we booked a weekend session at Backwoods Studios! Mr Tony was so easy to work with and so knowledgeable. He made Addison feel so comfortable during the recording. The studio session was top notch and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience for Addison! Mrs Patty’s hospitality was so wonderful! We enjoyed every minute of our time with them!

Backwoods Recording Studio is the place to record if you are looking for an affordable price, quality production, friendly and professional atmosphere, and the ability to work with people who actually care about you and your music. Moreover, the personalized customer service that Tony and Patty both provide is second to no other studio in Nashville. You don't just get shuffled through like you are on an assembly line. Tony takes his time to make sure that your music sounds the best it possibly can. He is a real professional. My husband and I would never work with anyone else. We have always been beyond impressed at the service and quality that we have experienced at Backwoods Recording Studio. Tony and Patty treat us like we are family. I wish we could rate it higher than five stars.
