The place to go in the valley if you need some cordage. If you ask nicely they might even let you use the electro-knife to cut it! Limited vegan dining options so minus 1 star.

We had a couple friends in town from out of state and they wanted to try touring for the first time! Paul was super helpful on pickup and drop off! It was really convenient that we picked up the gear the day before we used it, and then returned it after a full day of skiing (and an early-morning and late-afternoon tour).

Carter also assisted in the rental!

This has to be one of the friendliest shops I’ve been here in the valley they make you feel welcome, and no question is stupid. And they will spend extra time with you to make sure you feel comfortable with what you’re buying. they have an awesome selection of everything for backcountry skiing rock climbing river activities and they are super knowledgeable about places to go tricks and tips anything you can think of I can’t recommend this place enough.

I took a private kayak lesson today with Sean and it was awesome!! The best day I've ever had on the river. I went from never being in a kayak on the river to having a blast and feeling safe in 1 day. Sean's lesson provided me with skills to control the boat in many different types of water and I learned a tremendous amount about reading the river and understanding its currents, moving efficiently in the boat, and having fun! The experience was seamless, Alpine Quest provided all of the equipment necessary, I felt informed all day, and excited about the experience. Thank you for teaching me, Sean, I have a new found passion and will see you all again soon! - Jennifer

Have shopped here for many years and always experienced friendly, helpful service. While kid stuff is always hard to find, they have more available than most shops and have become our go to shop for kid's kayaking gear.

I went for the kayak sale and picked up two used ones for $145! That was total... Definitely in my price range and their new equipment is expensive but top-of-the-line with very knowledgeable salespeople.
