Overpriced. Higher than tcgplayer "market" "low" and "mid", higher than last sold listings as well, on bith tcgplayer and ebay. condition was not NM. I pointed out scratches on the card, which I was told that I was looking for "mint condition fresh off the printer" When the employee presented the card to me, there was "gunk" in between the card and the sleeve it was in, which left a mark on the card. I asked for a toploader for the card, and the employee working told me that toploaders are anything that can be "loaded from the top" in a not so happy tone, which yes i do understand that card sleeves can be toploadING or sideloadING. I included pictures for clarification. Normally, I don't go into detail or even care, honestly. This was a bad enough experience that I could not, not say anything

This is your one stop shop for everything Magic, DND, Warhammer and board games! I can easily find exactly what I am looking for! You also have the newest expansion sets and packs to my all time favorite games!

Thank you for being the biggest fan of the Idaho LEGO Users Group! You let us host MOCFEST here every June!

Dear Gabe,
Ever since you moved your location from Fairview to new location, I have had nothing but bad experiences with your choice of employees and their version of customer service. It's gone from them talking about magic while I wait in line until their conversation is over to them dancing/ignoring me while I wait in line until they've decided they want to help. Every time (not sometimes EVERY time) I go in here it's this horrible experience. BUT it always ends with me thinking "I remember when Gabe used to play magic and trade cards inside my dad's store, and we know him, and I will give his store another chance." Time and time again I am filled with regret. I filed for a buy list last night 2/13/25 at like midnight and I had a VA appointment this morning 2/14/25 at 11am. I figured it would give me enough time to do what I need to do and enough time for them to fill my order in the morning. There is absolutely NO mention whatsoever of having to contact these guys to get your order started (unless its curbside pickup only) when you check out online. AGAIN, no mention of that in your emailed receipt. So of course, I was bothered when the dancing dungeon crawling staff told me it was going to be another hour to even start because they hadn't yet. This has happened to me so many times before with online orders where I have to pay checkout with my card and update my shipping location and I wait weeks before I have to reach out because NO ONE shipped my order because they were just not sure if I was using the correct address. This service is absolutely abysmal. I don't even know how you can run this business let alone hide upstairs while people dismantle your store. I promise you that my friends and I will never spend another penny in your store.

Edit: Yes it seems as though only certain things will be addressed in your “attempts” however your customer service will not be.

Abu Games is hands down one of the best places to shop for Magic: The Gathering and other gaming needs. The store is always clean, well-organized, and has a great atmosphere. It smells fantastic as soon as you walk in, which might sound small, but it adds to the overall experience! The prices are consistently good, making it an affordable place to pick up booster packs, singles, and other accessories. I’ve been buying Magic cards here for a while now and I always find exactly what I need at great prices. The staff is also friendly and knowledgeable, which makes shopping here even better. Highly recommend this place to any Magic player or gamer!

My pathfinder group and I use to rent out one of their rooms. We did it for two years strait. Every Thursday we would come and we'd pay $10 to rent the room for 4 hours. We spent a lot of money there; from dice, to minis, to books, to other items outside of pathfinder. We were loyal customers and absolutely loved them.

However, all that changed when the fire nation attacked. 😆 Oops wrong anime. But Christmas came just after we celebrated our second year as a group together. Suddenly, our rooms were all booked. Even though we got there as early as we could to reserve our rooms, according to their policy, some how some one else was taking over our room...

We ask d about why, and how, this was happening, but their response was "we have to keep it fair to everyone to use the rented rooms." Apparently they were allowing "anyone"(it was actually a specific group who had an in with the employees), to rent the room a month in advance when we were only allowed to rent it a week in advance. My group and I explained how this wasn't fair to us, a group who has spent way over $2000 in the past 2 years in this facility. But it was "policy" and they couldn't do anything about it.

So, my group and I were left with no where to run our campaign and left on the streets to rot. After all our time, money, and loyalty, this was how we were treated. I will never shop here or rent from them again. I do hope they have changed their so called "fair policy" but they have already lost mine and my groups trust.

For those who might have ran into the same problem, I suggest looking into libraries, BSU study halls, and churches. They all have rooms you can reserve and they are usually typically free. Don't waist your money on people who won't be loyal back to you. Stay safe out there adventures! ❣️

This place is huge for a board/card game store. They have lots of variety in inventory. Place seems clean, organized, and free of odor. It seems like they hav a lot of games taking place weekly. We came for a pokemon pre-release. People there were nice. I will return and likely will bring family when they visit.

Amazing store! Well organized and put together. Friendly and helpful staff. Should be one of the first stops a gamer goes to in the city.

I frequently come here to play TTRPGs with friends and they have a lovely venue here. They have a lot of options as far as tabletop games, and a fantastically large room for painting. Just overall awesome spot. Wish I lived closer!
