I go to many more small town grocers than the average person and this one had THE FRIENDLIEST staff! Not hyperbole. Usually I am looked at sideways or with suspicion for being an out of towner which is fine and to be expected. However, the two people I interacted with who worked here were very welcoming! One was a young lady stocking things and another was more middle-aged and cashiering. I was really caught off guard by receiving actual eye contact and genuine warmth and conversation.
Additionally, the hot food from the deli was great and the prices were normal (some better than).

This store is in nearest town to craters of the moon park, well stocked store with almost everything you would need, fruits, vegetables, wood, dairy etc. they do have beers, cheap wines but no hard liquor. Found this place while visiting the nearby deli which serves yummy 🍕.

A cute small town grocery store. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection. Prices are high for some things, but there are lots of great deals as well. The workers there are friendly and nice, and give good recommendations about local goods and deals. You can also check out the weekly ads they have for their sales.

This is the best small town grocery store in Idaho.

The service is fabulous and friendly. The selection is incredible and well priced for being so remote. They keep their produce super fresh which is difficult for a small store.

Their freshly made in house salsa is a family recipe tweaked and perfected over the years from a recipe shared by a lady running a truck stop in Texas years ago when the owners' dad was a trucker. It's a masterpiece you must try to believe. Pick some up next time you're driving through. It's worth the drive for that alone!
