I love this place, it’s well organized, clean and peaceful. However; the librarians and front desk won’t shut up about their personal lives. Which none of us care about! Please guys some of us come seeking quiet spaces and a peaceful environment. If you must express yourself that loudly ya’ll could lock up in one of those study rooms. Please set the example for others. Thank you kindly!

I love coming to this library to work on school assignments. it’s clean and cozy. However this is where homeless people hangout. They are not reading or working they are literally just hanging out. Nothing against them but some are very distracting and I feel unsafe. Today this guy on a hat was confused and combative talking nonsense. I had to leave because I felt very unsafe. I think if they are not using the library for educational purposes they should have another place set up for them. It’s not fair for people who enjoy reading and using the library the right way.

Everyone who works here and or volunteers is always friendly and very helpful. The security staff onsite do care about your protection and aren't just there minding their business, they check up on you to see if you are doing okay, making sure you aren't being pestered by the drifters who come in seeking shelter. also, they enforce the masks ordinances some individuals are more rigid than others.
This library has clean conference rooms ready to book and lots of computer internet stations. Of course books on everything you can imagine plus a wide selection of DVDs to check out and take home. a very cool option not too many libraries offer this benefit.
Glenwood Springs library always has something fun and educational for the kids to do, games where they can win small prizes, I'm a grown-up, I even got enthusiastic watching them figure out answers to math puzzles, it's great how active the staff is with the younger kids they make learning fun.

Mind you I am a Latino immigrant in this country, I Stopped by the Glenwood library yesterday with my 2 daughters… unfortunately, because we have to cater to the transient community in Glenwood this library can’t cater to moms with young children. My kids were in the children area while someone was asleep on the beam bag… the security guard came and talked to him but that doesn’t matter because he wasn’t doing anything against the law… while every human being needs shelter our libraries aren’t able to provide shower, a bed and meals for the transient. My questions is how are we helping the transient because the way I see there is still so much more they need where the library can’t provide… we are living in impossible times… and I didn’t feel safe there.

I love take my kids here whenever they need a time to relax and read a book or something calm. They offer time to use their computer and printer whenever it's available.
