We had a great time with Josh! He got us on some big browns! He was a super nice guy and had lots of patience with us. I had never really fly fished before, and he was able to teach me 2 techniques that really work. Overall, Josh was a super patient and knowledgeable guy and we would recommend him for any time of the year

Josh Frank took us on an excellent 4 hr wade trip. My spouse and I were both able to catch large Brown Trout in an otherwise unfamiliar river. Josh is a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding rivers and works hard to make sure his clients have the best experience possible.

Winter Park Flyfisher also worked diligently to connect us with Josh for our narrow window of availability.

Had a great time with Josh on the water at Devil's Thumb with my Father in law. We fought through some tough conditions with high water and wind, but we were able to catch some fish and enjoy the beautiful scenery on a blue bird day. Josh was a great teacher and offers great coaching and concepts for those looking to get into Fly Fishing.

I recommend hiring Josh Frank to guide you on your fly fishing adventure. We had a great time and my kids have already asked to go fly fishing again. My son (age 8), daughter (age 10) and I were all new to fly fishing. Josh Frank took us a scenic spot with water that was age/experience appropriate. While we were there we experienced a hatch and caught fish while learning the basics.

Josh was patient while demonstrating how to spot and work a seam, dead drift, and both cast with nymph and a dry fly. He was eager to explain how the river cycled through the year and different techniques. It was the right level of detail and experience for our capabilities.

Best guide I’ve had in a long long time. Patient, motivated, knowledgeable, and fun to be with. We met at a great link up location- headed 30 minutes north to a perfect spot. Public water with temperatures in the low teens. Hiked into our stop and started living out best lives. Thanks again Josh - we’ll be back.

Incredible day with my brother on the Colorado River with Riley, our guide, on 7/19/24!

Worked the drift boat hard, got us into great casting positions, and gave us nuanced instruction throughout to get us on some fish on this particularly busy section of river during some higher air temps and lower river flows. Great trip!

Fished a half day on the Fraser River with Josh Frank of Winter Park Flyfisher. Wonderful guide with a great attitude and fantastic knowledge of the river and technique. I recently bought a euronymphing rig back in Michigan but only used it a couple of times. Josh talked me through the ins and out and in our second tail out I hooked and landed a nice brown. The trout started rising and he switched me over to a double dry fly rig and I landed three more nice browns. All in all a great morning. Thanks Josh!
