I've shopped here for years and enjoy it very much. The staff is helpful, and it's fun exploring the nooks and crannies. They've got new books and you can get trade-in credit for bringing in used books. I highly recommend stopping in and browsing.

I’ve had mixed experiences at this bookstore. On one of my first visits, I asked an employee if they had any books on iconography and symbolism. She went above and beyond, spending a considerable amount of time searching their computer and locating books scattered throughout the store. Her effort left a great impression and made me feel valued as a customer.

However, on two separate occasions since then, I’ve encountered employees who were far less helpful. When I inquired about Japanese art, design, and fashion books, they spoke to me in a dismissive tone and simply pointed me to a general area without taking the time to understand my request or check if I might have missed something. This was disappointing, as I had already searched extensively and was just hoping for some extra assistance. It also felt odd given that I was purchasing other books during both visits.

While the store has a great selection, the inconsistent customer service makes it hard to know what to expect.

I love coming here! They have a great selection of used and new books. My only suggestion would be to add a “Staff Favorites” section—it would be great to see personal recommendations from the team!

A nice local bookstore, with a varied collection. I wish there was a bit more room in some of the areas, it can feel a little cramped. Staff is always wonderful and who doesn't want to support a quality bookstore!
