I like the environment at big r much better than most of the big box stores. But they're prices usually don't even compare. However they have saved me a drive quite a few times.

Will not be giving my money to this place ever again. Bought a gun from them, had to spend extra money to do so due to their "store policies". Then when I went to pick it up, I not only got awful attitude and push back from the employee, she then charged me a transferring fee of $35.00 to just give me the gun I bought after waiting the 3 days for the background check. It was NOT a transfer from a previous buyer, so I shouldn't have been charged. My brothers did the exact same thing as me, and they were not charged for the "transfer". After her attitude and statement of "my previous employee messed up your process and I can't let you leave the store with this gun" (even though I passed the Federal background check so the government clearly had no issues how it was done?) I was not willing to argue the fee and just wanted out of the store with my firearm. Either she didn't know what she was doing (charging me a transfer fee without a gun transfer and saying my paperwork was done wrong), or the initial employee didn't know what he was doing. Either way, I spent money I shouldn't have both visits, and got attitude and ripped off the second visit for sure. Do NOT buy your guns from here.

like the variety in store . employees very friendy and helpful.store manager always there to help not like some stores ,some u go in the employees hardly know manager .i have talked with her and has helped me couple times . i would sa y dont ever let her go , i was a store manager in DIY store and grocery store she has it all right

Love to see what's new at Big R Farm and Ranch Supply. Especially the boots and shirts. They also have many choices for dog food and horse feed.

Come up to Conifer and cool off from the hot Denver Summer weather. It's 20° cooler up here. They even have a customer Lounge where you can relax and eat popcorn! Check it out. And ask for Isabelle if you need help finding something.

Absolutely price gouging at its best, wouldn’t shop there for animal supplies as they overcharge by 100% from other stores, the mountain tax isn’t worth the convenience. Something that should cost 30$ came out to 70$ just a heads up, workers are cool but corporate can suck nuts with their pricing, pretty sure their workers aren’t making 100k a year
