In this world of everything online, a physical used book store of this size is a gem. I went in today and Cheryl was very nice and helpful. There are SO MANY books, but she explained and showed me the organization and pricing structure including how trade ins work. I used to shop here as a child and recently moved back and was amazed it was still open. I will definitely be back.

Cheryl's is a wonderful shop to look for those used books you may be hunting for. Inventory changes often, and they are very helpful if you have questions. They will set up an account when you bring in the books you have read and will apply a portion toward your book you purchase later.

Amazing people, and amazing selections. I took my daughter today and we picked out some books for her, and I grabbed a couple books for myself. There is also a lady that makes these awesome bookmarks. I believe that Cheryl said the lady is a college student who is studying art. They are really pretty. I will definently make this a regular stop for my book shopping needs. 🙂

Great prices, helpful staff, and a large collection of mostly fictional books of many genres. Most, but not all, of the books are older. Prolific and bestselling authors are best represented amongst their collection.
I walked in the door with a vague idea of a couple authors to check out, and was immediately but not forcibly offered help. I chose to instead browse their shelves. I walked out the door with 5 books and $16 lighter. I plan to return.

I've been here before and enjoyed it, Cheryl herself is really nice and enjoyed a chat with her once and all but today (June 4th.) Whatever lady was in there working today was really rude.
Not sure why, she asked me twice if I needed any help and I said "No but thank you" and she walked off, mumbling under her breath for whatever reason.
I was definitely after some stuff and a potential buyer but after that, not sure if I would want to go back.

Don't grumble about your customers when they come in the store to browse for a moment in hopes of finding something.

If the lady has such a problem with someone browsing then maybe she needs to quit and find a new job.
