Outdated empty town with ignorant officers who dont know the law. Snake county that will only pull you over in made up construction zone to double ticket price then officers have no clue how to articulate any actual information. Cant get anything done with this town because they are living in the past old tech old reception just a trap of nothing in the middle of nowhere

Stopped in to get information on the things to do and see while visiting the area. We were promptly and cheerfully greeted by a really friendly gentleman who took the time to chat with us about the area's history and to share recommendations on where to go and what to see. They have a nice selection of brochures, maps and booklets available for free that you can take with you.

Closed due to COVID19. No visitor information etc. no bathrooms or water. One trash can is locked the other isn’t (in case you’re trying to dispose of road trash). A picnic table and benches and a quiet, well maintain parking lot. Next to a major road so can be noisy. Has some of the most lovely hanging baskets of flowers I’ve seen.

More like roadblock to the Rockies. Remove the traffic light or facilitate people going around your town.
