Wonderful house with great service. Able to enter if arriving late, access to room and house with keyless entry. Alcohol available and charged using an honor system-no one is watching you at this place! Very private, like being at your own home. The fireplace is cozy and the hot tub is a plus in the winter; a robe is provided but you'll need your own slippers. There are steps to reach the front door, the parking is great, and the house is simple to get to. It's less than a 45 minute drive form the Denver airport. The bed was fairly comfortable, the water from tap is delicious mountain water, coffee and tea is available for you to make in your own room, the towels are clean and the shower provides quick and hot water. We would definately stay here again.

Had a lovely stay at Juniper Mountain House! Everything was clean, quiet, and cozy. Would highly recommend and definitely want to go back! It's nicely nestled in the mountains but super easy to access with very nice hosts/owners.

I can't say enough good things about this place and owners. The home is very nice and welcoming. One of the owners promptley greeted us and gave us a tour. While I was at dinner the last night, I bought a painting that I really liked. I sent her a text and asked if there was any way it could be mailed to me. Without hesitation, she said just leave it in the room, and I'll get it mailed to you. (I did let her know that I would cover any expenses) This is going over the top in customer service in my opinion. If you're in the area for any reason. You need to make a point to stay here.

Juniper Mountain House is a dream! We wanted a cozy mountain vibe for our small wedding and were having a hard time finding a venue that felt intimate and catered to a smaller group. We are so grateful we finally found Juniper Mountain House and couldn’t have picked a better venue. The owners, Ashley and Alea, were very accommodating and personable. You can tell they care about the guest experience and have put thought into every little detail and design element of the hotel. Would definitely recommend Juniper Mountain House for a romantic couple’s getaway or a venue – we can’t wait to go back!

If you are looking for a stunning micro wedding venue in the mountains, you need to book Juniper Mountain House. The venue is breathtaking. The design, service, and unique flare give it 5 stars in my opinion. I love that the ceremony and reception are all at the same venue and that we got to stay onsite with our wedding party. The large deck is perfect for dinner and dancing. Alea and Ashley are super easy to work with and make the process as simple as it gets. I highly recommend this venue.

We stumbled upon Juniper Mountain House at the last minute and only booked one night, which turned out to be a mistake. This place deserves more time to fully appreciate its beauty and serenity. Nestled in the mountains, it's the perfect blend of luxury and rustic charm. Just a short drive away, you'll discover fantastic dining, breathtaking hiking trails, charming mountain town shops, and of course, the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre. We can’t wait to return and truly experience all it has to offer.

If you’re looking for the perfect mountain getaway, Juniper Mountain House is it. My wife, our two shih tzus, and I stayed here recently, and we were blown away by everything. The property feels like a peaceful little oasis tucked into the Rockies, but it’s still close enough to Denver (just about 30 minutes!) to make it an easy trip.

First off, the vibe of this place is spot on—cozy yet modern with a touch of Colorado rustic charm. Our room was super comfortable, with an incredibly comfortable bed and amazing sheets that we sank right into after a day of exploring. And let’s talk about the views from the deck right outside our room—absolutely stunning!

One thing that really struck us was how private everything felt. Even though there were other guests staying while we were there, we rarely even crossed paths with them. The layout and atmosphere make it feel like you have the place almost entirely to yourself, like your own little mountain hideaway. Between the private hiking trails, the hot tub overlooking the stunning mountain views, and the outdoor fire pit, we could fully relax and enjoy the space as if it was our own.

The amenities really made our stay. We took a stroll on their private hiking trails (our dogs were in heaven) and spent some time unwinding in the hot tub while soaking in those incredible mountain views. Later, we gathered by the outdoor fire pit with a glass of wine from their Honor Bar—it was such a relaxing evening under the stars.

What really stood out was how thoughtful the whole experience felt. They provided plush robes, special towels for the hot tub, and even an in-room coffee and tea station. They clearly know how to make guests feel welcome and at home. Plus, Ashley and Alea (the owners) were so friendly and accommodating—they made us feel like old friends.

If you’re in the area, whether for a romantic getaway, some time to recharge, or even just to get outdoors with your pups, I can’t recommend Juniper Mountain House enough. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back again and again.
