Positive: I liked that they gave me a room on the ground level after I climbed three icy, dangerous flights of stairs to get to my room. Negative: The Motel needs better snow and ice removal.Staff not available to get a new key card when my old one didn?t work. The first time no staff available (in person, or via phone) so I had to call a locksmith!Breakfast pretty bad.

A very cost-effective motel and one of the more affordable accommodation options in the surrounding area, yet it offers comprehensive services. The rooms are not very spacious but are well-equipped with all the necessary facilities. The only downside is the limited breakfast selection. However, one thing that really stood out was their thoughtful service. We arrived late at night, and I was worried about not being able to check in as the office might be closed. To my surprise, the staff had placed the room key in an envelope in the mailbox, ensuring that I wasn’t locked out due to forgetting to check in earlier. Such a considerate gesture!

Room was clean and sufficient for our weekend getaway. Had a room with a balcony the overlooked out to the mountains. Had a microwave, mini fridge, love seat & two queen beds. Courteous staff. Continental breakfast was awesome - excellent scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy. Coffee was soon good too. We'd stay there again!

My husband looks for cheapest room available. It was our 44th Anniversary and my birthday. After all the negative reviews, I feel those people were biased against. The continental breakfast was adequate. The room was very clean and staff was attentive. We would stay there again. No issues. Like not having carpet in the room. Encourage people going to Estes and RMNP to check this place out.

I can see why this used be highly rated. Just not anymore. Which is a shame.

The negatives:
The picture of the hot tub about says it all - the amenities put in place previously have not been maintained properly.
The hot tub is full of sand and insects and was cold. The carpets outside the room are in need of replacement. The plug in the tub/shower was dirty and nearly clogged, which made a 5 minute shower fill half the bath tub. The silicone in the shower is starting to mold. The temperature button on the AC didn’t seem to work.

The positives:
The location is excellent. You could hear elk screaming right through the open window. The water pressure is excellent. There is a free, but simple, breakfast included.

I hope the owner decides to maintain his building and the amenities to bring it back to former glory (as understood by older reviews).

What I can say about this hotel is just amazing...
The rooms were clean, beds cleaned, very friendly staff, amazing prices, good free breakfast. We will go back. Love the fact u can borrow free dvds to watch, I can't wait to go back hopeful for new years. Keep up the great work. We enjoyed our stay so much. The kids loved it. Yall are amazing

Just a few minutes from town. New owners now so don't expect the same family atmosphere as listed on Trip Advisor. Hot tub leaked if you turned on the cold water. Toilet didn't flush unless you did it 4-5 times. I think the breakfast is powdered eggs and thawed bagels. Read RECENT reviews and forget the older ones.

Positive: We liked that there was no carpet. Negative: It was overpriced for what it was. The room wasn?t ready even though I booked this after check in time and when we got there, the room wasn?t ready. Along with a line of other people whose rooms weren?t ready. Clerk not attentive. Would not stay again.
