This place has been an oasis in the city for several decades.
Holly runs this beautiful used book store with love and care for her clients and the community.
It's always a pleasure to see her and chat with her about her inventory and historical significance on Colfax.

If you're looking for a page out of actual Denver history, stop by and grab a book and chat up the staff here; they're knowledgeable and so kind.

Holly is wonderful and I'm so thankful to be a lifelong customer and friend.

I wish there was an option for ten stars! 🌟 💞 📚

This is the place to go if you want the traditional feel of a resale book store. It’s a cute decently sized store with multiple mostly organized sections of books. Most sections are 75%+ stocked which is nice for the adventure of looking for a new book! The books are a great price for the year/source/index. Worth finding parking for.

Easy meter parking just west of store allowed me 38 minutes to browse before buying the postcards that brought me in. It's a nice space, not too packed, and not at all the commercial feel of Barns of Rubble or whatever.

This bookstore has been part of Capitol Hill for decades and is a great part of the personality of the area. The selection of titles has a lot of what I've always expected and needed, and many really good unexpected ones in all categories. There is a lot of information about old Denver and it's the main source for books by the local (and interesting and awesome and entertaining) Phil Goodstein. Good and knowledgeable people and a sense of magic and discovery, besides just books.
