Have a good selection of old and new books with a sprinkling of other nerd glitter items like dice and themed jewelry. The guy behind the counter also offered suggestions for other shops that might be able to work with the trade-ins I had. There were some cosmetic repairs needed that made the building feel a bit run down, but overall, it was a good experience with a wide range of mech and a really helpful proprietor.

Escape Velocity is one of the more established comic book stores in Colorado Springs with a great selection of new comics and back issues. Very nice wall book and premium comic selection as well. The staff is friendly and the owner is welcoming. They have a kid friendly area with kiddo comics which is always a welcome sight for anyone with kids like me.

If I don't go in at least once every couple of weeks, I miss it. I've become friends with some of the staff over the years and our chats about comics, the news, TV, and politics are a great part of my week. The owner is always looking to make improvements (I've been his guinea pig a few times) and he has successfully kept me coming in to help fund those improvements. It's a great store and a great experience.

Awesome selection of comic books, this has been a Colorado Springs staple for a long time. We used to frequent here once a month, but I dont collect comics anymore. But this place is still awesome!! You can get any type of book you want. From vintage to modern day. You cannot go wrong by going here.
