This is the spot. Bring cash and you won’t break the bank. The food is awesome. I love the service and the cinnamon swirl pancake is the move. Stop here always for amazing breakfast and lunch. I’ve lost count as to the number of times I’ve been here

Consistent diner fare and the only place in Basalt open before 8AM! Some great egg combos (e.g. with tamales, with enchiladas) but the heat seems calibrated for the gringos so make a special request if you want your food spicy.

CASH ONLY. The food was great, but we were never informed that they did not accept credit cards prior to dining. They had tiny signs inside that were easy to miss (as you can see in my picture). We ended up having to venmo the waiter. Not taking cards in unacceptable in 2024. Another table had the exact same issue.

This cafe is delicious! The chilaquilles were outstanding, breakfast burrito had a light spice to the sauce & the Huevos rancheros were very flavorful also. The server was very attentive and friendly definitely will return.

This place is nothing extravagant. It's pretty quaint, in fact. And they won't even take a credit or debit card. But don't let those semantics fool you. The food here is incredible. Always made with love. My absolute favorite is the Tapatio Eggs Benedict. But all of the other breakfast favorites on the menu are delicious and worth the stop. This is one of the truly good restaurants in the Roaring Fork Valley.
