Such a great value for the Aspen area. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Although I was staying alone I believe families would be very suited to this property. Ana greeted me at the front desk on check in. She was always extremely friendly and helpful, made great suggestions and always had excellent information about the hotel. I extended online via a separate reservation and before I could confirm my room with her, she greeted me by name and presented me with the new key cards. She knows and demonstrates hospitality. Chey was the night reception and she was always just as helpful and friendly. All of the staff from the breakfast crew to the evening social hour attendant were always doing a great job and making guests feel welcome. I was very impressed with the equipment provided in the fully stocked kitchen for my room. I’ve stayed with my wife in the finest named properties in Aspen many times and rarely felt as valued as I did at the Element Basalt. Also the bus to the ski areas is literally 1 minute walk just behind the hotel. Whole Foods also a 1 minute walk for stocking your kitchen. With an unlimited hot breakfast included, you won’t need much. Book your stay here, you won’t be disappointed!!!!

I've stayed here three times for work. It's a great hotel. Very clean. Great staff. Breakfast is ok. Decent I'd say. Location is great tho so there are plenty of places to walk to eat. We stay here during x games which is like a 25 min drive so great for that. Highly recommend.

Fairly new hotel located near Aspen on the main highway. Room was somewhat small but well appointed. The counter space in the bathroom is extremely limited. It was quiet with some highway noise. Plenty of free parking which is unusual in a resort area

Excellent place, at par with every other Element I've stayed in. Nothing too fancy, but nothing bad at all. Room was spacious with huge windows for you to see the mountains. Good location in a very safe neighborhood. Decent breakfast as well, no cutting corners here. Overall, I was very satisfied with what I got. Extra points for the tostadas on their breakfast menu - that was something unique and I loved it. Please continue to serve tostadas for breakfast.

One of the best experiences of a non-luxury hotel. Attentive staff, great breakfast, happy hour offering and comfortable rooms. Extremely enjoyable stay.

Dishwasher did not work.
Noise in the room.
During breakfast, the labels on the food were misleading and did not reflect the correct ingredients. As a result, our breakfast was ruined since we were unknowingly eating pork products that we never eat.
The incident was reported to the manager but he did not do much apart from saying "Thank you for letting me know", after which he changed the sign. The manager failed to realize how important that was and did not seem to care about the extent of the damage.
This incident ruined our vacation and destroyed our trust in this hotel. We will never go back to this hotel.

My mom stayed here after breaking her pelvis in a ski accident. All rooms are ADA accessible from what I’ve heard, but the wheelchair specifically accessible room is great. It also has accessible aspects for those hard of hearing or vision impaired to help with entry into the room.

Service was above and beyond; staff helped my mom get food when I wasn’t around, they gave her late checkout with no problem at all, add another night stay no issue, and helped her with her bags. Oh and we walked in without a reservation (her flight was canceled after hospital discharge) and they got her an accessible room for her injury cleaned and ready in less than 45 minutes. Lobby is cozy place to wait and have a glass of wine.

Bed is extremely comfortable and clean. Room has full fridge, stove top, sink and dishwasher— so I could cook her meals. Whole Foods is right down the street. Automatic blackout shades are a huge plus.

Gym has peloton bikes and other new equipment open 24/7. Pool and hottub looked great but I didn’t manage the time to use it.

Breakfast is complimentary and has real freshly cooked eggs, etc.

Great job, Element — I’ll be recommending that all my friends, family, and clients stay here when they are in town.
