I purchased a firearm here and I was pleasantly surprised to be treated like everyone else and not like I am new to them. The staff was polite, professional, and seemed to enjoy their work environment. There is a large selection of gear and necessities. I was looking for a meat stick filler and found one here with choices of casings and seasonings. Very convenient!

I stopped by Sportsman’s Warehouse yesterday to buy a firearm. I had planned to go to Murdoch’s because they had a sale on the firearm I wanted, but since Sportsman’s Warehouse was closer, I decided to check there first. The price was a little higher, but the staff was able to price match for me, which was awesome. The service was quick and kind—huge thanks to Don for helping me out!

I would like to explain my reason for the 5 stars… I’m fairly new to this establishment I recently tried to purchase ammo for my husband and ended up getting the wrong kind.. the store policy that I was unaware of due to lack of communication from team members is once you purchase ammo and leave with it you cannot return it due to ATF policy’s and what not. Unfortunately for me I didn’t even pull out of the parking lot before realizing they were the wrong ones and still couldn’t return them… I spoke to corporate about it and a women named Brandy understood my frustration and helped me out with a refund, she also let me know I should probably let newcomers know that they do have a policy regarding ammo that you CANNOT return it once purchased weather you hear it from me or a store team member unfortunately I did not get the information from any team member so I will let you know what was informed to me after the fact of purchasing two different types of ammo which resulted in a $100 purchase instead of $27.

I've purchased 2 separate firearms from this location. The latter I dealt with an elderly employee that entered my SS#/DL#/address incorrect. Resulted in an FBI flag for no reason (other than the mistakes with IPad + old guy used). Months to clear for a shotgun. BS.

My opinion- avoid the clown show- and purchase firearms via an adeqaute dealer.

Really happy with the customer service I received here today. Without getting into nuance, I had an issue with a gift card that they took care of in a customer-first fashion.

Also had a nice conversation with someone behind the gun counter prior to all that too.

Went in today because a firearm that was on sale at Brownells was in stock at Sportsman's, and I'd rather add to my LOYALTY points. Provided the matching mfg#s, showed people the Brownells price, and the "We price match!" attitude turned into, "Oh no we don't Price Match internet prices..."
Terrible honesty, terrible effort, and terrible integrity.

For FFL transfers they make you wait 4 days instead of 3. They did not tell me that when initiating the transfer and starting my 3 day wait, so if you are like me you waste a bunch of time driving there at the correct time to pick up the item only to be turned away... there’s an hour of time and a quarter tank of gas down the toilet. This buffoonery is corporate policy but the employees are the ones incapable of transparently implementing it. When asked they try dodge the topic, I was told multiple times how "the first day doesn't count" (even if I waited 3 days after the first day, and then yes they agree… actually 3 days had ELAPSED), or I am told it is somehow the state legislature's fault (3 days is their fault, 4 days is a sportsman's warehouse problem), or they say it's because they can't deal with checking the time (computer's exist? or can you just write it down somewhere? It's not rocket science), and finally I was told it's to solve the issue of buyer's getting upset after confusing AM and PM (literally impossible because they open at 9AM and close at 8PM, less than 12 hours, so – and I mean this literally – that is literally not possible)... I understand employees don't make the stupid policy themselves and they have limited influence over it, fair enough, but the attempts of employees to gaslight me with bogus judo to justify the wait pushed me to the point of insanity. Just tell people up front that it's 4 days or, better yet, just let people pick up after the state-required wait period has elapsed.

Ryan is the man. He’s helped me out a couple of times, always nice, Positive attitude and always answers any question he has the answer for. Broke my tip and didn’t get the warranty like a dummy. But he made sure I was taken care of. Always a great experience when I come in for my fishing and sporting needs.
