Love this place! I visited for lunch today and enjoyed the gorgeous February afternoon on their dog-friendly patio. My turkey avocado panini with tomato & arugula was delicious and just the right amount of food. Fresh-squeezed lemonade really hit the spot, too!

Delicious muffin and affordable coffee in a laid back environment. Love the music, good vibes and quick service. Prices are extremely reasonable and plenty of space to work remote or catch up with friends.

Great neighborhood coffee house with some significant historic significance. Whittier is a great, sparse neighborhood with lots around it, but not a ton of stuff within the neighborhood itself. Whittier cafe really brings charm to the neighborhood and some great food and coffee to boot!

Coffee was great, but I wouldn’t go out of my way per se to come here. I do love stopping by when I’m in the area though!

First time going and the drinks were fantastic! Got the Coconut Cowabanga and just a latte. Service was quick and kind and all I could ever ask for when going to a cafe. The atmosphere of all the African heritage and knowledge of different cultures around Africa was great to see. Will be back.

Edit: I went back and had a 16oz iced vanilla and cinnamon with oat milk. It was delicious! I also love that they have 4 shots in their 16oz vs some coffee shops that just have more milk in their bigger sizes. I love the coffee, art work, and education value they bring to the community! I will definitely be going back!

Old Review: I was really excited to try this place, but my milk was so hot I burnt my tongue and couldn’t drink it for 20- 30 minutes. Maybe I’ll try again sometime! I got a latte.

Lovely atmosphere. Nice place to sit and read a book. It has some covered outdoor seating as well. I'm a tea drinker and they have 4 types of iced tea to choose from (summer). My daughter says the coffee is great too. She sat here for an hour and sketched.

Stopped by the cafe on a sunday evening; they have a good selection of coffee and pastries. Ordered Macchiate and Latte; the service was a bit slow but other than that the atmosphere was really vibrant! The cheese panini we ordered were fresh as well as the coffee! Would definitely recommend.
