Do not talk or work with these people, they will never leave you alone for the rest of your life. I signed up for a promo deal a few years back and to cancel it was kind of a pain, but what is worse is no matter what I say they never stop calling me. They just called me again today, hence the review... I'm sorry for my negative review Denver Post, but you need to get it together, you remind me of an Ex with serious attachment issues. Its over, now move on with your life and leave me be.

I signed up for a three month subscription, called to have it cancelled and they said it would auto cancel. Before the 3 months was up they added two more additional charges, even after I called to have my payment information completely cancelled and removed. I have spent many phone calls and e-mails trying to get refunds for the charges, especially considering I haven’t even received a paper in weeks. The Denver Post is scamming people and rude with customer service, placing many “refund requests” in which they never got back to me.

The Denver Post DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THE ELDERLY population. As a Subscriber for over 50 years, and now using a walker, all we ask is for the paper to be put on my Mom’s porch so she can reach it. Day in and day out, it’s way out in the yard (if delivered at all). I call “customer service” daily and they always say the same thing: we will let your delivery person know to make sure It’s on your porch, but it never is. Then he has the audacity to send her an envelope fishing for a tip!

The audacity of this company is beyond understanding. Charging a senior $262 a month for the "paper". Literally insane and disgusting. I'm glad I looked at my father's account. You should be ashamed Denver Post!

I would leave a negative review if I could. Do not sign up. Once you unsubscribe they call you every 2 weeks from a different number and harass you into resubscribing

Wow I wish I could do no stars , never received one news paper call them to tell them they said look into it then couple months later call to cancel and get refund never happened then call month later still find not cancel then they telling me they have to review a call to refund my two months of charges never sign up with them it’s a scam buy news paper at store. So upset how I now have to call my bank as this company doesn’t know how to care for customers and do what they request

I would give zero stars if I could. The guy at the market who signed me up said it was a free trial, and cancelling was easy. Both of those were a lie. My card got charged $21, and when I went through setting up an online account, it said the option to cancel online wasn't available. So I had to call this number. I tried calling two diff days, each day waiting on hold for about 20+ minutes, only to get transferred and get put on hold again. Finally after talking to someone, they tell me they can't refund my money even though I never got one copy of their paper to my house even though I had been subscribed for 5 days. Not that I want it, anyways. What a racket. I'm so disappointed because I'm a huge advocate for printed news, but this is not the way to do it. Trapping folks into a subscription and making it near impossible to cancel. Just wow.

EDIT: After opening a case with the Better Business Bureau, the Denver Post refunded my subscription and I was able to cancel it. So I would highly recommend going this route if you're not making progress trying to get ahold of them by phone. As for the nonstop harassing phone calls, I noticed that if I blocked all the numbers they try calling from, I won't get them anymore 😆

I supported the paper with my subscription dollars, and finally canceled because I wasn't getting much value. Once I canceled I began getting "robot calls" from different Denver Post numbers that hang up on me as soon as I answer. I assume the goal is to frustrate me to the point I not only will never subscribe again, but I'll actively go out of my way to discourage others.
