My experience at The Learned Lemur was absolutely marvelous. El was very personable and helpful, pricing was well within reason, and the lovely folx at the tattoo shop upstairs had some beautiful artwork. I enjoyed my chat with Molly, she was incredibly welcoming and gave some awesome recommendations for the area.

I lost my sweet baby Beans in November of 2021. I always knew I wanted her to be articulated and it was very important that I had arrangements made before she passed. I reached out to Jonathan regarding my wishes and he was more than helpful and walked me through the process and help me make arrangements. After Beans passed Bex was amazing and kept me up to date through the entire process. They were so kind and attentive from the day I dropped Beans off to the day I picked her up. The articulation itself is incredible. There are no words to describe the quality of work display by Jonathan. My baby is absolutely perfect ❤️ I am forever grateful to Bex and Jonathan for the gift they have given me. They are one of kind humans and deserve all of the happiness and joy life has to offer. A fun oddities shop with a great staff. The person working the counter was too cool and helpful. They pointed me to their podcast and I’ve been listening. I’m still stuck in Kansas but my wife and I had a great time chatting up Odd & Other, on our anniversary roadtrip.

What an absolute treat of a shop!! Endless interesting oddities, really good pricing. Staff was super awesome to make conversation with and they told us about the workshop + how they use beetles to clean the animal bones/skulls.

If I were in town longer I would’ve loved to stay longer / come back for future activities, but next time!

The absolute BEST place for all oddities, curiosities, fine art, and monthly sideshows! I’ve purchased many items over the years from Jon and Bex and their fantastic team, they’re always super happy to provide the history, sources, and education on all of their beautiful rarities. The curated fine and featured artists enhance the aesthetic of the beautifully old Victorian house the Lemur resides in, and all the plants available are so happy and there’s a fantastic variety that changes all the time.

Plus the monthly sideshows are an absolute blast and they tend to sell out their tickets very quick so make sure you snap them up! You’ll get to see fantastic performances from all types of sideshow performers in the gorgeous carriage house which has a lovely beer garden attached to it! It’s such a gem and if you’re visiting Denver or a local you have to check it out, it’s so easy to spend hours here!
