Very friendly staff, renovated & reorganized, big variety.

Deglet & barhi dates from Coachella Valley, same price as at Windmill Cafe date shake in Desert Hotsprings (their date shake is $8/large--love that place).

This is the kind of place you travel long distances to visit. The vegan date shake was amazing. Super sweet and rich. Large assortments of dates at a reasonable price. Buy 2 medjool date boxes get the 3rd free. Lots of middle eastern food and snacks. Lots of other things I didn’t get a chance to look at. A great store, must stop by if your traveling and love dates.

I bought a 1lb ziplock bag of Medjool dates expecting them to be very good and fresh. Unfortunately this bag contained very old, dry dates that tasted bad! Some even had black mold inside! They must be getting rid of ancient dates. The ones I buy at a grocery store are much fresher! Yuck on the ziplock bag dates 🙁
