The chamber is incredible! I moved here a year and a half ago and started a business. I was able to really build a great group of friends, network and clients. I joined the young professionals comity and actually hosted at my my showroom. They have been so generous, kind and welcoming. Highly recommend to join!

I have had the most incredible experience as a long time member of the Chamber. I've met new friends, new clients, city officials, local company owners, CEOs.The events they have such as the upcoming Installation dinner is the best. I look forward to it every year. The monthly after work mixers are great as well. There are a few critics out there that could not get past the receptionist; if you can try and not be so quick to judge, you'll find an amazing group of people who really care and are making a big difference in this community. From the beginning, being a member of the Santa Monica Chamber of Commerce has been nothing short of an amazing experience. I joined my first Young Professionals meeting in March, and was honestly a nervous wreck. It was my first time going to networking events and I was SCARED out of my mind. BUT, when I attended this meeting, I immediately met Richie, Nick, and Aaron. They were super friendly, welcoming, and I knew from that moment on that I had picked the right Chamber for me. I've been a member of the Santa Monica Chamber over 16 years. It has created opportunities for my business generating over 20% of my clients coming from businesses I met at Chamber events. The Chamber personnel from reception to the president, and everyone in-between have been friendly, proactive to my needs, and giving insight to opportunities. I personally have got no experience with the Chamber per se but it was enough from me to chat with Ms.Rhonda on the telephone today, she found herself inept to explain to me in view of an upcoming event Biz @ Sunset, whether there is a much chance on to networking with the perspective employers and business partners. Instead she just repeated one the same phrase: there is always a different people... Well hasta la vista CC of S.Monica I'll abide, will the others do the same, is it in its place if the staff outsourcing is working properly for them, though?
