I had a great conversation with (I presume) the owner on Sunday about sci -fi and fantasy, and walked out with a great recommendation and an old favorite. The atmosphere was great, with a nice cozy fireplace. I could have spent hours there. And I loved the book swag up front, especially this little fan. I'll definitely be back!

Beautiful shop, nice owner. I love book stores so anything that allows me to wonder around books I love. This bookstore is perfect. Set right next to a small sitting park next to the creek and in an old building from the gold rush era. Books stacked on beautiful shelves and tighly shelved so you wander through a wonderland of books and other sundries. Love it! The owner is really nice and helpful.

Such a quaint, great bookstore. If you can’t find it, Ben (owner), will get it. Love this bookstore.

I absolutely love Stacy and supporting her passion and wisdom in knowing what this community (and beyond) love.
Her choice in books is impeccable and the kids section is the best I’ve EVER seen. And if for some small chance she doesn’t have what you’re looking for, she will have it there at the drop of a hat. I’ve been to a lot of book stores, in a lot of places and Harmony Books is my favorite. Thank you for being here!

I love this local bookstore! The new owner is very helpful, kind and intelligent. I’m thankful to have another wonderful reason to shop local.

I like to support local bookstores, and have frequented this one often but I’m officially tired of it. Every time we walk in, no hello, no how can I help you, nothing. She’ll finally take her nose out of a book (it actually is too cliche to be more interested in books than customers) to ring you up and get her money. But not even then do you get a hello. I REALLY want to help subsidize local stores and have no problem padding two or three dollars on each book to support local. But if you won’t even say hi or thank you or anything other than “you ready?” when I have my wallet open, then I’m just going to buy from Amazon.

And for such a “spiritually” driven place, the total lack of hospitality makes me wonder if New Age and Tarot are the grumpy religions.

I get books here all the time, if you want it Ben can get it. It's so truly nice to see businesses like this still exist. I much rather get something from a place like this as opposed to amazon.
