Dusty was incredibly informative about the area and his recommendations and notes were spot on!
The bikes were in great condition and not the old grandma style cruiser, decent gearing for 7 speeds!
The paneer was perfect for carrying our necessities and the lock was used, but seemed not really needed at the vineyards!

We were in Palisade to ride the technical Palisade Plunge mountain bike trail. We drove into Palisade in the morning and parked at the public parking just near the railway tracks, got ready, then biked a very short distance to the bike shop and Palisade Cycle & Shuttle (round the back of the bike shop). On the day we went, the bike shop was not open for business that early, but it was open for using the toilet. The shuttle is a big van that pulls a trailer with the bikes on it. Rondo, our shuttle driver was very knowledgeable about the area and the history of biking and bike shops. It is a beautiful drive up to the several drop-off points. Interestingly, the shortest bike ride is the longest shuttle ride (due to the layout of the roads on Grand Mesa). We had some bike issues in our party, and our driver was super keen to help out. We will be doing this ride again and of course using Palisade Cycle & Shuttle.

Great time! We rented e-bikes and cruised the fruit and wine byway. The bikes worked great and the saddle pack made it easy to carry everything. Highly recommend Palisade Cycle—great service, location, and equipment.

This place is the BEST - they have great bikes and gear, are friendly and ready with serious advice on wine touring and what is open/when so that you can make the absolutely most of your day. We rent from them every year!

We had a great day on the Palisade Plunge, thanks to our shuttle company! We met the store owner a bit before 8am. He showed us the map and described in detail the various sections of the trail. We had planned to ride all 32 miles, but after our briefing decided on the lower 20 instead, which the owner recommended. We knew he was giving us good advice, because the shuttle to the lower trailhead was actually longer and more costly for him. We are so glad we listened! The bottom 20 miles is the best part, and even for strong riders, is a long day. We had enough energy and water to ride the best sections of the Plunge. We also knew the owner and his staff cared about our well-being because they asked us to check in when we finished. Great day with a great company! Highly recommend!

Booked a last minute shuttle to do the Palisade Plunge. I couldn't have done it without their locals knowledge and advice. Everyone was super friendly and willing to share tips to enjoy the ride. Shuttle to the top was comfortable and quick. Thank you to all the guys in the shop for a great end to the season!

The Palisade Plunge shuttle service the bike shop runs is top notch. The owner, who was driving the shuttle the day we took it, went above and beyond to assist us with a mechanical issue with one of our bikes. Turned out my bike was inoperable, so Rondo kindly took me back to Palisade in the shuttle. While I waited for my husband to complete the ride, Rondo did everything he could to make me feel welcomed and ensure I enjoyed my time in Palisade. We will try again next year. I look forward to using Palisade Shuttles once more.

I was able to rent 4 bikes the day before our outing. Even though they were busy, staff took the time to go over our best options for vising wineries that day and made fantastic recommendations for lunch and dinner, too! Because of their assistance, we had an amazing few days in this beautiful part of the state and enjoyed the places they recommended!
