Remember the good ole days when corporations didn’t bleed into every hotel and half-ass their hospitality services? This was not like one of those hotels. Staying at Timber Ridge Lodge was like staying at your best friend’s family ski cabin for the weekend. The hospitality and friendliness of the staff exceeded our expectations. Kelli, the front desk clerk, is a gem of a human being. My friends and I would go hang with her in the lobby after a day of ice climbing just to bathe in her exuberant energy. The rooms were clean and well tended to and the shower pressure was immaculate. Will definitely be staying st Timber Ridge Lodge next time we make the trek back over to Ouray.

Love this place!!!! So amazing and worth it! Will never stay anywhere else! Beautiful views, friendly staff, free coffee, cocoa, tea all day. Blankets and s'more's kits every night for free! Huge bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash in the room, all smelling amazing and work good!
Plus the binder in the room is a travelers dream with anything you could ever want or need to know, as well as the front desk lady went over a map with us and was so helpful and knew the tips and tricks!

Our stay here was amazing. The room was clean and spacious with a microwave, fridge, and heater. From check in to check out, the service was warm and excellent. They provided s'mores kits every night and have a cute fireplace area in the back where you can roast your marshmallows. It was close enough to town without having to break the bank. We are definitely staying here again when we come back!

Cute little lodge near the main street. The rooms are cozy and within walking distance to the river.
Basic accommodations, do not expect a Ritz Carlton experience.
The evening propane bonfires are an added topping. Just be prepared for some noise from the second level if you are staying on the first level

First time staying here and did so based on reviews. It didn’t disappoint. Stayed 3 nights. Our room was clean and comfortable. Beds and bedding are nice. The hotel staff are super helpful and friendly. Good location. Fire pit and s’mores at night are a nice touch. Reasonable prices. Would stay here again.

We love staying in Ouray every Valentine's day. The Swiss Glass Shop and Mousses Chocolates are happy memories.
This is the first year we stayed at the Timber Ridge. Check in is 3pm. Fireplace in the lobby and a fire pit from 6pm-9pm with s'mores. Very cozy little cabin feeling place to stay. USB charging ports. Real tile bathrooms. Excellent views of the mountainside. Right across from the Smokehouse Restaurant.

This is an older place that has been renovated. I stayed in a single guest room that was fairly small but nicely laid out. The bed was comfortable. The facility is well thought out, with a small cafe for breakfast (not included), a nice fire pit, and great access to the Ouray Perimeter Trail along the river. The hot springs are just a 4-5 minute walk.

A very cute hotel in Ouray. The rooms are updated and clean. Nothing special, but also very affordable and close enough to town. The ladies at the desk were very friendly and accommodating. Also great views from the rear facing rooms. Would definitely recommend.
